Chapter 7:
I ran towards the glow. I looked in trying to remember where Kimi went before the fire started. I looked around making sure no body was near me. I started running towards the fire looking for an enterance. I found one and ran in. The rooms were burning hot. I peeled my sweatshirt off and threw it in the fire. It turned to ash. I ran towards our classroom. I heard someone screaming.

I lost the draft and had to write it over again. Then I lost the draft again! But know I found it!

Chapter 8:

"Kim?" I yelled. 'Kimi?" I yelled louder trying to open the door. "Hello?" She yelled. "Lilly? Is that you?" She shouted. I could finally see her face. She tried pulling the door but it wouldn't budge. I banged on the door. The fire was closing in. "Kim! Get out the emergency wondow!" I yelled. "I can't get it open! I'm not strong enough." She shouted back. "Stand back!" I yelled. She obeyed. I walked back as far as I could go and started running side first into the door. It worked! I slammed down on the ground, my arm bleeding. My back was stained with black from ash. I coughed. "Help me up." I said. My voice cracking and my arm was bleeding harder. The fire was getting closer...

Chapter 9:
It was only about 2 minutes before everything started fading. My eyes got blury and all I could see was the golden red glow of the fire. All I could hear was Kimi's voice calling my name over and over again. Eventually, even all that faded. Everything was.... black. Black and red.

Chapter 9A:

I woke up only about 2 hours later. I was on the gurny(hospital thingy) heading for an ambulance. My dad was their, shaking his head. Mr L was their as well. He was talking, no arguing with the principals. Kimi was also their. She was talking to a news reporter. I couldn't make out what they were saying so I didn't bother. their was too much commotion for me to be able to understand what was going on. I couldn't remember a thing.

Chapter 10:

9:45:09PM: I started opening my eyes.
9:45:10PM: Gave up opening my eyes, fell asleep.
10:31:51PM: Woke up, eyes looked bloodshot.
10:32:12PM: Nurse gave me medicine. Said I could leave in the morning.
10:32:20PM: Nurse leaves. Doctor comes in.
10:33:56: After alot of "hmm's" and "I see's" he finally speaks:

Doctor: You gave us quite a scare.
Me: Hmm
Doctor: That medicine is probably making you drowsy. I'll let you sleep.

10:35:15PM: Doctor leaves. I fall asleep.
8:14:59PM: I wake up again.

Once I woke up, I could remember every last detail. My dad came in. His eyes were tired from lack of sleep. He gave me some crutches. "Ready to go?" He asked. I nodded.

Epilogue:

Lilly will never forget that day. She and Kimi didn't make it as friends. Actually, Kimi went around to the press and said that she saved Lilly. Lilly got off her crutches around December a year later but she was terrified of fires. Instead of becoming what she wanted, she became part of the fire department. She died two years afterwards in a fire. Kimi went to jail for stealing and is supposed to be there for a long time. Everyone else carried on with their lives. They all will never forget Lilly. Sadly, she's dead... or is she?
