Name: Cowgirls Rule
Poem name: Freedom Flight
Why your entering:For fun

Freedom Flight

My wings furl out as I take to the sky
My beak opens with a silent caw
My head tilts as it welcomes the rising sun
The slight rainbow welcomes me to the realm of the birds
My wings beat up and down
A silent song in the still sky

Whoops! Sorry about that. Embarassed

Name: Cowgirls Rule
Poem name: White Fluff
Why you're entering: for fun

Poem:

The sound of bells comes closer
A human approches me and puts a halter of bells around me
I raise my head proudly as I am hooked up to other reindeer
I am the leader
My bells clink in time to the silent hoof beats
The frosted air swirls around us like a second coat
The air and sky is our closest friend

Why your entering:Sounds like a really fun thing... poetry.
You can just go all out on emotions or keep it simple. Love love it. =)

Poem:
Day is like a simple flounder
Darting, weaving
Everyone busy in Honolulu

Night time comes
Our shining friend is bright
Out my window I here waves
They crash and I wonder

Waiting on glass flooring
Saint Nick's jingle bells chime
Flooring cracks, I hear a jolly man chuckling
I can already smell freshly bitten cookies
Oh this Hawaiian Christmas.

59 words I think...

Name:SomebodyDude
Poem Name:O' The Holidays.

O' the holidays wonderful you see,
Old Saint Nick coming down the chimney,
Everyone asleep it is so quiet,
Even a young mouse named Wyatt,
Saint Nick comes tip toeing in,
Finding everone asleep and then,
Dashing back tho the tree,
He emptied the presants as quickly as could be,
Then up the chimney he decided to leap,
Making a promise to be back next year,
A promise he knew he could keep.

Ok not my best work Rolling Eyes but it will have to do...

My poem

Christmas time is here!
Also ful of cheer
The carolars are caroling
And kids by the fireplace
It is almost time
The children are tucked in sleeping
You can hear Santa's bells on the roof
As he slides down the chiminey
For gifts to all
And once the children wake
They will sing a gleeful song
There will be Oohs and Awahhs
As children open their gifts
From good old st.nick

OkI just thought this would be a good Poem, It was writen by VinTani.

Happy New Year SBF'ers!

It is 12.58am here, so almost a full hour in 2010.....And I should be sleeping, but what the heck

Wishing you all some simple things for this bright and shiny new year:

Friends and family to love and be loved by...

Days of laughter and days of tears, since sometimes a good cry can work wonders...

More cookies than the human body can handle...

Joy in your heart, a smile on your face, and a smooth path under your feet leading in a good direction!

Am I ever so slightly buzzing with good vibrations, positive thoughts and a restored faith?

You betcha.

Most everyone by now knows the "Saga of the kitty with cancer"..........

My Pazling hasn't been well this week ( infected toe, won't bore you with details, but the poor lil guy is pretty miserable ) but after his second trip to the vet in a week.....

Mr Vet is fairly sure he was either A) misdiagnosed and does NOT have cancer ( a miracle ) or B) due to medications the extent of the cancer may have appeared exaggerated or C) it isin't the type of highly aggressive cancer they first thought.....

Any way Mr Vet looks at it.....With the constant pampering over the last two months, warmer weather, different meds etc etc..........

Paz's "time" may not be a few weeks as was first thought ( and why I've been away ) but rather, potential months of healthy, comfortable life ( why I'm giddy with joy right now )...........Pretty much a Christmas miracle.

Right now....He hasn't had morphine in 4 days....And so far, isin't limping, despite a bad toe as well.....His elbow ( where the tumor is located ) has dramatically shrunk and is no longer bothering him......

I'm dithering on, sorry for that.....But my happiness is overflowing. I was preparing myself for the last goodbye to happen around about now.....And now, it seems like a date stretched so many days into the future I can barely see it. Call it crazy cat lady syndrome, but my kitty is the love of my life, and every day with him ( though it has always been a joyful bonus ) is now even more so......

Its still going to come. And I still have to keep myself together, for his sake, and know when the time is right to help him go while he is still himself.....But right now.........

I sat in the vets and cried like a baby hearing this news....

And y'know what? The staff shed a few tears with me, after everything he and I have been through lately....

But......I don't know where I would be without the support of friends and family, and that includes all of you.....So, from me, and from Paz....Thank you.

And now that its like 1.30am and I've waffled on forever and completely lost track of the point of this post......
