Throw It Away (A Vampire Mini-Novel)

Summary:

The Brook's coven is the most secretive coven ever, even the Doles, the rulers of the vampire world, don't know about them. They are an elite group of vampire gods and goddesses. They harness all gifts available to mythical creatures. Ally, the youngest of the coven, vows to never fall in love. What happens when a huge battle brings all of the covens together to fight the evilly turned gods and goddesses of the world?

Charactes:

Ally Brook: age 98, the youngest of the Brooks

Tyler Brook: age 103, harnesses the most powers out the the Brooks, Wife- Charlotte

Charlotte Brook: age 115, Husband- Tyler, has the most odd powers out of the Brooks

Steve Brook: age 132, Wife- Mia, harnesses all powers that have to do with the elements

Mia Brook: age 126, Husband- Steve, harnesses all powers that have to do with man made objects

Matt River: age 89, can see the future, is a lone vampire

I sat at the window, watching as the rain dripped down the thin glass. I was utterly bored, Mia was shopping with Charlotte, and Tyler and Steve were "practicing their powers", more like playing X-box. Yes, I don't have a spouse. I am forever trapped in a 18 year old's body. I am a certain branch of vampire, a vampire goddess. Though, we have to keep it a secret, so I'm risking my life telling you this. If Mia and Steve found out, they'd be furious. So here I go, telling you the story of my existence.

So, after a heartbreak from my boyfriend, I strayed into the woods. It was there that a human sized pixie found me. She claimed she was a protector of the Brooks coven.

I asked her what a coven was and she simply replied,"It's a group of vampires. Yes, they are real. But, the Brook's are a special coven, they are a coven of god and goddess vampires."

A group of gods and goddess vampires? Well, how bad could that be? I quickly asked, "Why are you here for me?"

"Well, you see, only five humans and one vampire are chosen to fulfill the spots of the vampire protectors, or gods and goddesses. You have been one," the pixie explained.

I looked at her, stunned. Why would anyone want me? I was just another heartbroken teenager. My mind whirled with thoughts.

"B..b..but why?" I stuttered.

"You have a personality that is always forgiving. Your personality is very unique," the pixie replied.

"Uh, okay, but when do I get changed into one?" I asked.

"Well, today," the pixie burst out.

"Oh," was all I could muster.

"Come on, they're waiting for you," the pixie urged.

I reluctantly followed her into the woods surrounding the school. My heart was thumping wildly in my chest. Would it hurt? Would I be a monster? Will they like me? Will I be like they depicted me? My thoughts were brought to a sudden halt as the pixie stopped at a large mansion in the middle of nowhere, which was not quite possible in this small town. Everyone knew everyone and where they lived. But apparently not at this moment.

"We're here!" She called in a normal voice.

MiPOV:

I heard Flora, our protection and finding pixie call out we're here! I rushed down the stairs, my auburn hair strewn out behind me. I quickly called Steve who was by my side in a few seconds. We raced down the stairs, hand in hand. Both of us eager to see the new addition to our elite force. This would be our last mortal to change. I walked normal speed to Flora and the new mortal.

"Why hello Flora! Who do you have here?" I questioned curiously.

"Hi Mia! This is Ally, our new addition. I found her near the edge of the woods sobbing her heart out. Apparently she just had a bad break up by the state of her mind," Flora chatted.

"Oh my! Well, I'm Mia, nice to meet you Ally," I replied.

"Hhi," Ally stuttered.

She was quite a beauty that one. She had strawberry blond hair with light streaks of pure blond in them. That would become more enhanced when she got changed.

"Don't worry, we've been preparing for you. We already got a room for you and some clothes. Now, come with me," I reassured her.

Ally nodded. I swept upstairs to the changing room. Steve followed me closely with Ally. He closed the door and quickly laid Ally on the king sized bed.

"Okay, I'm ready," Ally stated.

I nodded at Steve to go ahead and bite her ankles and wrists. He nodded and quickly bit them, letting the venom freely flow through her veins. I sighed and sat down in a chair. It would take about one day, half as long as a normal vampire change. Well, then again, we aren't normal vampires.
