Sadness relase thread

I dont mean to bum anyone out by saying this but my dad is going to Afgahnastain for 14 months I'm am so, so glad that hes just going to be on the coast helping out with the government and not in any danger but this thread is also for those coragous people that went through what I will. This is also for those people that lost their lives and should be remeberd for what they did and that are still doing.If you would like share your sadness, thouths or any thing else

my great grandfather fought in WW11 and i never got to meet him. and i have countless friends and cousins in the army/nilitary.

My dad fought in the Vietnam war... *hugs to coconut*

My uncle was a Navy Marine I believe, fought in Afghanistan before, he returned and went to live in Europe. *huggles to Coco!*

My friends mom is in afganastan too, but for 18 months!

My dad got us Lego Rock Band for Wii and he was on his knees playing the gutar trying to be funny and, all then my mom said"dont hurt yourself your going to war" then my brother , cousin and I started screaming with laughter

My grandpa was a Marine pilot who was in WWII and Korea...I never got to meet him. I have several friends who are in the Army who may be deployed soon

wow i have a couple of friends that are going for training and my great grandfather made it back from war but died of his 4th heart attack i belive.
