The creation I chose was the rainbow pegasus, which was inspired by wolfgirl's entry.
The foundation pair of this beautiful breed are Caesicius and Aureolus.
Each is named after the colours they represent.

The contest

I'm looking to create a new exotic pegasus variation. One that I can share with everyone.

This contest is very simple. Suggest a pegasus variation and the one that I like the most will be created. The person who suggested it will win the first offspring (double exotic), $100mill and 3 or so tokens (sorry it's not much).

A few contest rules:

If more than one person suggests a variation, only the person who suggests it first will have any claim to the prize.

You may enter as many times as you like.

The winner may do whatever they wish with the animal they win. There are no restrictions or obligations.

*NEW* All entrants will receive 5 free pegasus rescues!
Possible variations you could get are: Greek, Meadow, Mountain, River, Woodland, Desert, Savannah, Sea, Storm, Zebra.
Possible colours you could get are: Dark Barred, Ebony, Flaxen, Pearly White, Tawny Brown, Thundercloud Grey.
Possible details you could get are: a Faint Aura, a Flaming Mane and Tail, a Majestic Stature, a Soft Ethereal Glow, a Vast Wingspan, Delicate Gossamer Wings, Hooves that shoot Lightning Bolts, Long Flowing Mane and Tail, Long Raven Black Wings, Refined Beauty, Elegance and Grace, Ribbons Woven Through Its Mane, Ruby Eyes, Shimmering Sapphire Wings.
Pegasi will be random, so you won't have a choice which ones you get. If you're not happy with the ones you get, or you don't want any pegasi, please don't leave them on my farm. I'd appreciate if you could pick them up even if you just dump them on market.

Stormwing Pegasus (stormwings have the head and chest of a human and metal feathers, so the Stormwing pegasus would be the head of a human, the chest of a horse, and pegasus wings with metal feathers, and a tail of a bird again with metal feathers.)

Spidren Pegasus (Spidren are the head and chest of a human and the body and legs of a spider, a giant one at that. So the Spidren Pegasus would have body of a Pegasus, and wings of a Pegasus , and the legs of a spider, and instead of a mane it would would be the head of a human and neck of a human. It wouldn't have a tail though.)

I'll try and come up with more. I'll see.

Hurrock Pegasus(a pegasus with claws and eyes of a predator, basically the dark pegasus)

Coldfang Pegasus(a Coldfang is a tracker, it is a large lizzard, its shape and color and size varies. A Coldfang Pegasus would be the head and neck of a pegasus, the wings of a peguasus and they scaly skin of a lizzard, the color of a coldfang, and the rattle tail of a Coldfang.)

Taurus Pegasus(well, a taurus is a half man half bull. It has the head of a man and the body and tail of a bull. So a Taurus Pegasus would be the head and neck of a man, the tail of a bull, the wings of a pegasus and the body of a pegasus and the eyes of a bull, the hooves of a bull as well.)

Ninja Pegasus (has ninja skills! lol)

Eve Pegasus(like Adam and eve eve.)

Bigfoot Pegasus (head of a pegasus, the body of an ape with wings, and the tail and hooves and legs of a pegasus)

Electric Pegasus (pure white, with a unicorn horn, it can "charge" and produce sparks and lightning. Has lightning marks with black on the hindquarters.)

I thought I recognised some of those names, Cowgirls Rule. I'm also a Tamora Pierce fan, although admittedly it's been a while since I read those books.

I love some of the ideas I've received so far, and I've listed my favourites in the first post. I'll add to this list as I get more entries, but ultimately I'm going to have to decrease it down to one when I choose the winner. It's already looking to be a tough choice.

I've also changed the contest so that every entrant wins 5 free pegasus rescues! This is regardless of how many ideas you submit, or whether you win the first prize or not. I'll privately message each entrant with their list of animals so that I don't clog up this thread.

Random ones I came up with.

Icegloss Pegasus (With wings the color of light blue/ glacier blue and its shiny, and glossy.)

Diamond Point Pegasus (Is covered with a diamond-like armor plating or horn like unicorn made of diamond)

Flora Pegasus (The ability to grow and control plants)

Half-Eclipse Pegasus (Its color changes with the cycle of the moon)
