I just now got called an overbreeder by someone that I thought was my friend. Now I'm wondering how often do people make you cry on here? |

Sometimes I get a weak feeling in the knees when someone starts shouting at me menacingly, but not crying, I'm sorry it happened ~Rose~. |

I would say that if someone is making you cry over a game, they need to be put on ignore/ told to stop and if they don't, they should be reported. Badgering other players over their play style won't and isn't condoned by the admins.
There is no right or wrong way to play this game unless you are breaking the rules and people need to understand that. It doesn't matter if you are overbreeding (in their opinion) or not, there is no rule in the terms of service or posted by anyone in admin that limits how much you can breed as long as you have the breedings to do it. It's also no one's business how you play the game as long as you aren't cheating or stealing from other players.
On the other hand, I would be concerned for your well being if what someone says on an internet game can make you cry. It's just a game, not real life and there is nothing can be said that should seriously affect you in real life. |

I understand some people can be easily saddened, but I still would worry that someone can be brought to the point of crying in real life because of something hurtful said on the internet. I'm not saying you shouldn't feel emotions, but that if the emotions are spilling over and affecting your real life, it might be something you should take a hard look at.
Heaven knows there have been people who have made me mad, made me happy or flat out disappointed me online, but I would fear for my sanity if I felt those emotions strong enough in real life to act on them. And yes, you can have friends online, but they shouldn't be equated with real life friends you can see and touch, so they shouldn't have as large an affect on your emotions as a real life friend who betrays you.
If a person on an internet game can make you cry, then perhaps more experience with real life interactions is called for.
You also have to keep in mind that the internet can give people false bravado, meaning they feel they can say things they wouldn't say face to face because they are more or less untouchable online. Therefor, you can't give as much weight to the things people say online. They are just hiding behind the internet. |

I totally agree with Alabama, overbreeding is nothing to cry about. I've been called that heaps of times. I've never cried, it has never occurred to me that this game is 'so' important, as more of a hobby or a side game. If your taking this into account in real life, take a step back and look at if it really is worth it to cry about.
Especially RP's, they are a story and if something bad happens to your character, it's still a story. But if there is a repeated offender, not just calling you an over breeder, then report it immediately to Alabama or another mod.
If you don't want to, have a talk with your friends, parents or trusted adult about this, or just really have a think about what you are crying about. It's not worth it.
I'm soory if this sounds mean, I tried to make it sound as nice instead of saying, don't cry over spilt milk. It's just not worth your tears.
Hope all gets better soon
Feel free to PM me if anything gets worse
Choco *hugs* |

Yea Alabama has some good points now if evreybody knew me on rl then i would be a whole lot more sane but i am insane (theorectically speaking of course) and i known as the crazy person that does the weirdest habits or can do the weirdest things that used to upset me but now i can deal with it and lately in rl i have somefriends that me and them are not non the best foot right now and i tend to vent here but appropriatly. |

I remember seeing on the tv, a girl was on myspace, and she fell in love with this fake guy, then he started being a jerk to her, and she commited suicide. The person who did it was really a mom trying to figure out why her daughter was fighting with that girl. She didn't go to jail or anything. She acted all smug when she was questioned. |
