Well, once upon a time, there was the Declaration of Independence...
xD
The USA has some different way of measuring than the rest of the world. For example, we have feet and inches instead of meters.
So according to the US, $4,000,000 is four million. $4,000,000,000 is four billion, which is 1000 x a million. I think. |

the easy way to remember is whatever number in front of six -0-s(zeros) like 1000000 is i million and so on. 10000000 is ten million. Just count the zeros and then the number in front is how many million you've got. |

Logic says to me instead of saying 1 billion billion why not just make up its own word trillion. Otherwise to me it sounds kinda kiddish but thats becuase my younger brother is always going around saying things like I want 1 billion gagillion million dollars. Does what I just said make sense or should I say cents lol . |
