I counted the numbers of these dogs and there are 100 of them in the game. I don't remember who created this AE dog but I do know that she created the breed after her own dog, it was special to her and it has become way over bred. I encourage everyone who has multiples of this breed to release some and please stop breeding them and studding them out. The same goes for other AE and endangered breeds please release some if you have multiples, In an effort to lower animal numbers, I just went through some of my enclosures and released over 30 animals so far and I have more enclosures to go through yet.

#1386 B.B.Urie made them. I think they're the most common AE in the game.

There's a lot of breeds that should be rare, but are fairly common. I think the breeds that have been there longest are the most affected, and some are owned by absent players which don't really count. There's more than 50 breedable Angel (End) Ferrets in the game, I don't know if that's noo many or not but I keep an eye on it.

As a side note- if you release an old animal that you're keeping offspring from, does it function the same as sending them to florida or should you just wait?

Giving sterile multiples to other people isn't helping to lower the numbers though.

If they can't reproduce, eventually die, and thus the breed is still just as hard to get. What's wrong with numbers?

You haven't been on in awhile, that is the one thing that everyone has been working towards now is lowering the numbers of ends and AE's. The creations are becoming overpopulated and it brings down the value of the animals. Just letting you know Smile

B.B Urie, a.k.a. Amara, sealed her own fate with this by violating a number of contracts, offering AE offspring up for public auction without contacting the owners, especially odinsdottir, who just happened to be one of my best friends on this game.

After she refused to take the SEVERAL AE's odin had traded her off of the auction block, odin retaliated by offering a Westie for open auction for every one of the creations Amara refused to give back to her.

Shortly after this happened, odin caught a lot of flack from several judgmental veteran members that only knew half the story, and shortly afterwards, odin left PERMANENTLY.

Usually, I wouldn't condone this type of behavior, but Amara was guilty of this type of betrayal with many nice, upstanding players, (in fact, her obnoxious behavior got her temporarily banned at least twice) and she fully deserved a taste of her own medicine.

I hate to see the overpopulation that's happened since, but there's a better reason than usual in this case. That whole situation was terrible - I wish it never happened. Crying or Very sad I miss odin... she and Jinxx were the founders of fair and respectful play here on SBF.

Omgosh, I've been waiting for this issue to come up! Did you know that there is a wesie up for stud for only 1mil! We should really contact this person because that is wayy too low, many people are geting their hands on aes cheap and then they overbreed! We really have to do something about this as a community and see how many we can get to stop breeding etc.

I understand the whole situation with Odin and I don't blame her for what she did, in fact I was all for her showing Amara a taste of her own medicine but the breeding should have stopped there and Odin should never have been jumped on the way she was. Because Odin started breeding the Westie and she was within her rights to do it but that doesn't give everyone else permission to over breed. This AE should be treated like the other AE's and it is sad to see so many in the game.

Perhaps I've just become used to more rational sites, where price is determined by how difficult the animal is to obtain, not by the number of animals out there. In order words, where the number of WHOLE animals out there is more important than the actual number of animals.

The problem is not the 100+ Westies. It's the four that are on stud - more notably, the one that's for stud for 1 million. No one's going to sell a sterile AE unless it's not the only one they have - unless it's for a really high price that would make up for the prestige drop. Which could actually RAISE their price/value. Just throwing that out there.

The American Saddlebred is another one with a rather insane amount of animals (end rather than AE, but same idea otherwise). Not counting the ones over 30 years, there's nearly 300 of them in the game, and very few are sterile.

I'm going to search through my Dog kennel and a few other enclosures and release or sterilize those who are extra/duplicates, not needed or over bred, I think I have one Westie from a studding... I will release it...

This is what I had been assuming. I hadn't been counting sterile animals unless I knew they were sterilised after breeding. After all, they can't increase the population.
