If you absolutely CANNOT download gimp, I would suggest using the free-form select instead of the square cutter. (That's the box at the top left of the toolbar in Paint, at least in mine.) Inverting only some of the images usually leads to awkward affects.

I would put the text on the actual image instead of a black box around it, but if that's your style, by all means, go ahead - that's just my preference. -shrug-
