First you go to http://tinypic.com/, a great site that lets you upload for free without making an account. You click on choose file, and find the picture you want to upload. Then just click Upload Now! Once you've got the picture loaded, copy the URL for forums and message boards, and just paste it into your SBF post. Very Happy

I took a look at few of them, I'm no line artist, but I really like it for a first time! Through on one, I think it was a close up of a wolf, maybe you could use a smaller brush to get the white spots that were not colored, so it looks fully colored. Oh,you may went to add detail later for effect!

They're pretty good, but you could be a little more presise on the coloring and maybe use splashes of color Wink other then that awsome.

I would suggest:
1. Studying canine anatomy
2. Getting very familiar with the way the Edit Colors panel works. (Double click on one of the default colors, or go to Colors -> Edit Colors to get to it. Then click Define Custom Colors.)

Animals are never just one or two shades. Even if all you have is Paint, it's not difficult to get in different colors. Find an actual pose that's similar to your lineart the first few times to get the hang of it. Basically, take a really bold color (like red) and draw a line "tracing" the lighting or change in the fur of the reference image. Then fill it in. Depending on how accurate you want it to be, that can take a couple of minutes to a few hours.

But really, if you want to do really nice lineart that's colored in to look realistic, ask for help on a gimp forum or something to see why it's not working on your computer. Brushes, layers and the dodge/burn tool are amazing and they make the whole thing SO much easier.
