Interesting. I'm 34 and have been working with high-velocity dryers for my grooming job for 18 years. I often have to ask people to repeat themselves, especially Jim who speaks entirely too quietly to begin with. Naturally, I assumed I wouldn't do well on this test.

I could hear EVERYTHING but the very last one, and on all but the last one, I could hear that thesound was actually made up of a lower and higher tone. I suppose being musically-inclined doesn't hurt.

Very cool site - thanks for posting it!

I always found it very weird that I do sometimes have trouble hearing a general conversation, but that I can be rooms away and hear the "buzz" from electronics....I have absolutely no idea why I hear some ranges better than others but I think in general my hearing is fairly decent...

I don't know why but I love random little oddities like this hearing test lmao...

Oddly enough though...My 8 year old Beagle showed absolutely no signs of hearing them...That or she chose to ignore it. She "doesn't hear" her name being called from a metre away, but hears "biscuit" said in the next room so who knows... Laughing

HA! Selective hearing at its finest...

My Pointer, Amber, did that hilarious head-cock that she does with those brown doe eyes... I'm surprised she didn't start sassing at the speakers like she does my alarm clock - funny that we BOTH hate that sound!!

God, I love that dog so much...

21.1, with no problem. o_o Even with my dirt cheap little speakers that die very frequently... Odd.

I'm sixteen, so I guess that's to be expected-ish? -shrug-
