I'm so sorry to hear that, I know how hard it is to lose an animal that you are close too, it is like losing a family member. I've never had a large animal die but I have lost a hamster that was special to me, I miss her so much. I could put her on my shoulder and walk where ever I wanted too and she would stay right there. I didn't know it was possible to bond with a small creature like that but she found a way into my heart. If you want to talk I am here too.

I also would like to send out my condolences. It doesn't matter whether it's an animal or not, the pain is I find very much the same. Animals are such a huge part of our lives they may well as be human as we grieve for them the same. I can tell he had a special place in your heart and I'm sure you did all you could to save him. He's in the green pastures above running free now.
