Wahey! I've finally decided to start offering art services!
Please read through the conditions and FAQs.
GENERAL INFO
If you're willing to abide by the terms and conditions set out below, and willing to pay the correct price for your order, then fill out the appropriate form for your order (also found below) and post it in a comment.
DO NOT order when it says commissions/orders are closed/full. Once the slots are full I will take no more orders until they are open again and you cannot reserve a place.
NEW RULE: Only one commission order per person at a time! I kind of think it's fairer this way
If you wish to supply photo references, it makes my life a lot easier when it comes to getting things exactly as you want them, so if you provide a link to a picture with exactly the colour/pattern/etc. you want, that'd be great.
All backgrounds will be the same colour as the animal pages (I think this looks best) unless specified.
Size will be a minimum of 350 and a maximum of 600 pixels wide. Colourings of premade linearts cannot be larger than the origional lineart.
Payments to #2839
---
COMMISSIONS
Commission Status: CLOSED
1. PurePleasure - Dutch Rabbit - almost finished it but stupid computer issues meant I lost the whole thing: so angry!
2. Bleed - Timber Wolf - finished and awaiting payment
3. piaffe - Papillon - not started yet
PRICES
Each commission is completely unique to you and has have a basic price of 50k. Anything ridiculously complicated may push this up a bit.
I'm putting the price up after this lot of commissions! Not quite sure to what yet, but considering the conversion rate from SBF to VHR dollars and how much art goes for over there, 50k seems too little to pay for anyone's art, and mine's worth more than that to me. Hey - at least if I'm getting paid more I might put more effort into it!

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Do not claim my work as your own. EVER. I will hunt you down.
2. Do not alter my work in any way once it is handed over to you, and especially never remove/hide/disguise my signature or copyright mark. See previous threat.
3. Do not resell. The image is for your use and your use only. On top of that, if I sell you a hand drawn piece, I’m selling you the right to use it on one of your animals, and no more. No duplicate usage.
4. I put a lot of effort and time into my art. If required, I’m only to happy to make any alterations within my capabilities, but if you don’t like the finished product at all, you still have to pay. Sorry.
5. I’d prefer it if you paid up front, but since a lot of people are uneasy about that, I can wait. But you still have to pay before I hand over the finished, un-watermarked piece.
6. I’m not a professional artist. I have a life and I don’t run these commissions to a tight timescale. If your commission isn’t done in 24 hours, or even a week, don’t complain. After 3 weeks, you have the right to complain, but don’t expect me to be any less useless because of it..
7. Save finished product to your hard drive/server ASAP. I can’t promise it’ll still be on deviantART/Photobucket a week later. I’m ditzy like that.
8. If I say I don’t want to do your commission and give good reason, or if I say my commissions are closed for whatever reason, don’t bug me about it.
9. Try to keep this thread on-topic, purlease.
10. Wildebeest.

FAQs
Q: What do you use to make this art?
A: A Wacom Graphire 4 XL, Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0, a scanner and a pencil. In reverse order. Sometimes I skip the pencil part and sketch straight onto the computer.
Q: Do you take any alternative payments?
A: Yes! Both tokens and VHR money/goodie dyes/foundations etc. are very very welcome. I think the current exchange for tokens is around 500SBF$s for 1 token, so 50k = 100 tokens? PM me to sort out other alternative payments.
Q: How come your picture looks like this one I found at http://somewebsite.com?
A: I use pictures like that for reference and occasionally employ a kind of rough tracing to block out proportions. By no means do I ever trace an entire image.
Q: You charge too much!
A: Sorry. No, wait, no I'm not. I'm mean sometimes.
Q: Why wildebeest?
A: Why not?

Sorry did you want payment first? The only reason I usually wait is that sometimes additional charges get added for for example complex colouring and I just find it easier. Plus it reduces the risk of scamming which (cross fingers) doesn't seem to be a problem here. Just let me know. |

Nah, don't worry bout it. It's easier for everyone if I put a copyrighted version up, then get paid, then give you the final one.
And, for some bizarre reason, I'm doing them backwards, and Myrrh Naname's one is done!
I really hope it's ok - I wasn't really sure how to colour it, I've never done a snake before! Also, the background is red, instead of the writing. I've forgotten my reasoning behind this, but I think it looks ok
Please tell me if it's ok, or if you want anything changing. It's easy to completely change the background/text. Otherwise, send 50k/100 tokens through to #2839 and I'll PM you the link to the non-text-smothered version. |

Next up is the gecko! This one was fun, even though I gave up on drawing the other foreleg. I just couldn't do it without making it look mangled! It could conceivably be hidden away, right?
Played with a new shading method - it's like having watercolours! Whee!
Ahem. Yes.
Here it is:
Send the trade on through if it's ok, Nienna, and then I'll PM you the link.
Spots make my head hurt... |

I've set a trade for you up. It looks great! Don't suppose I could persuade to you to recolour it for the same price at a later date? *grins* And yes, gecko legs are awkward hehe. |

Sure! Recolourings are no problem at all. I could do one for 30k. Just leave a message here when you need it. |

And the last one! I am teh queen of the quick turnaround, oh yeah. (it's helps that I've had absolutely nothing to do for the last few days! hehe)
I may have gone a little overboard with the fur...never done it before and I think I got carried away. Kinda went 'whee! Smudge Tool!'. I heart the smudge tool.
Anyway. Black is hard. I have learnt this. I REALLY hop it looks ok and not too dark on other peopl's screens. Looks good on mine, but I'm aware having different settings can change this This si why very dark colours are tricky...
GAH.
PurePleasure, same goes for you with the checking/paymentness.
Commissions should be open again once all the payments have come through. |

Gorgeous image - and I like Nienna's gecko even better, since it looks a heck of a lot like some of the guys I have kicking around in the vivaria upstairs - but one minor little quibble on the leucistic burmese.
She doesn't have nostrils! Pythons have both prominent heat pits (along the lip) and nostrils.
However, the shape of her, the coils and the 'weight' are perfect! |

Oopsie! Darn, I'm sure my ref for the head was a python. Maybe I just missed them. Weirdly enough the gecko was no problem, but drawing a snake was completely alien to me! Lol, I'll wait till the commissioner gets back to me, i think, to see if she want it changed.
Thanks very much kesqui! Definitely appreciate the compliments and the tip! |

Royal pythons have much less prominent nostrils - now that I look at it, the head looks a bit more royal and a bit less Burmese.
That could well be where it's come from - especially if the reference picture you used was of a leucistic python... since leucism hasn't been discovered in Burms yet |

My ref wasn't a leucistic, but there's always a chance it could've been a royal instead. However, much more likely that I just didn't notice the nostrils - I'm fairly clueless when it comes to reptiles! lol |
