And get this, girly sugar gliders can have up to four joeys in their pouch but can be pregnant twice in one sitting! Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Sad Confused

Yea but having two girls also means we can't keep the girl babies cuz the mothers usually get into fights with their daughters, plus there is the chance of inbreeding AND if you own four or more breedable females, you need a breeders license!!!! And then there's the chance of canibalization or rejection by a young mother Sad

Awww...But still Smile

Just FYI...Komodo saliva isin't poisonous exactly, but it is laden with some very nasty types of bacteria...They hunt most often literally by biting something, then following it until the bacteria poison its blood and it dies. They also are carrion eaters, which just increases the nasties in the drool....

Charming, aren't they? Laughing

Sugar gliders are cute...But I think different to what we have over here by the same name? I don't know...

Snakes don't have kissable faces, they have touchable bellies.

I'm not sure how I feel about people keeping native Australian mammals as pets. My gut feeling tells me its wrong, no matter how cute they are, and I don't understand how they got into the hands of the public without a zoo liscence. They're quite special and not domestic. Snakes and lizards are complex enough (coincidentally, no bearded dragon was ever imported to the US legally. They're all bred from illegal stock). People don't need to keep their own zoo.

Unless it's on SBF.

Me too Vitani, they call me "A walking animal/history/sciene Encyclopedia", and thanks, I kinda forgot it wasn't poisonous, the only truly venomous ones are the Gila monster and one other Embarassed .
