Ok, Do you have an accent? I have a southern-type one although I live in the mid west United states, No one from my family is from the south. Shocked , I don't know where I got it. I will say "Scuse ma Please" instead of "Excuse me Please" and I will also say "Baaad" instead of bed when i'm not thinking of it. But I use it even When I'm focusing, but I do have a normal Mid western accent, but the southern type one is my Normal one Rolling Eyes . So, Do you have an accent? Very Happy

Lol! I do however have a small kind-of Australian one that I will use in whispers, I will commonly use the word "Mate" like in the Australian term when talking sometimes, I do have a wide vocabulary through. I LOVE German and Japanese accents!

I have a long island accent... where people pronounce the G in long when they say it. Also we dont pronounce dog or walk correctly. But I think other states have that too.

Glaswegian....

I'm from Scotland, but here instead of Glasgow, we say Glesga.

We say aye for yes, dug for dog, whit for what, and other funny things. Think groundskeeper Willie from the Simpsons and your close.

We also say fag for cigarette, which most Americans find funny.

I think I have the most complex of all accents. Try 55% American, 25% Irish, 13 % Canadian and 7% British. I have met many people who a fabulous at imitating accents but none can do mine... not even close. With words like vase and what I have a habit of pronouncing it deeply like most Brits do, but it comes out wrong. Yet with words like dance and nike I still pronounce it in an American way. *Sigh* my accent seems to be in an identity crisis.

Yikes DesertBreeze!!! That has got to be annoying at times, well it would to me, but its good to be unique! Wolfgirl I have pretty much the same thing as you, lol! I'm also fond of Scottish accents and French, I'm just a bit Scottish and French, and Cosmo that's a cool Accent! Vitani that's cool, I don't think I have a really "True", more of a mix. I Also do have a of some weird German/French slang at times. Cool Heather!
