I own a horse. His registered name's Gunsmoke Dun It. He's a nice horse. Really hard to ride. You know the term "push button horse"? He's that kind of horse. You have to give him the right cue and he does it. He's I think personaly he's the hardest horse to ride, in terms of how you cue him. I'll post pics of him soon. His barn name's Gunner. He's so funny because he likes granola bars, cheetos, and other stuff. Anyone else own or lease a horse? Even if you take lessons, feel free to respond about all of your experiences.

I own a Sport Pony, named Scout's Honor, or Scout in the barn. He is a cute golden bay with black legs and a Texas shaped star on his forehead. He just turned seven, and can jump the moon! We compete in local and soon rated shows in short stirrup and we also jump courses fluently around 2'6". He is learning flying changes and has a heart of gold. Scout is super clam and is a great mover, too! I also compete in 4H with him and we do pretty good in showmanship, too. Scout loves trails and shows, and will fall asleep anywhere when he's not working Wink He is only 14 hands, and I am 14 years old and still ride ponies comfortably, considering I'm only 4'10", and so he is perfect for me! My little hunter jumper man!

Mine is a 23 year old QH called Tom B Swift. He's a red sorrel with a mane and tail almost as pathetic as those you expect to find on a foundation Appy. He has been my all-around horse for eight years and was the trusty 4H steed for a while until I aged out of that. And though he's ok at most everything he's best at being a gaming horse or nailing lead changes in western riding. Lately I haven't been riding him because he's stiff in the front legs. At first we thought it was because he had been recently trimmed, but at this point we're certain it's arthritis and just need a second opinion once the farrier checks his feet again.

Prince, I'm not sure what to call him, maybe borrowed. He's a Morgan that belongs to the guy I board with and I've been riding him for a few years now. His specialty is being a spazz over some of the strangest things like a ground pole and yet he loves to knock over the barrels when we ride and then roll them across the arena, the best toys are, indeed, free. He's sort of my next all-arounder in the works since I lack the attention span to stick to just one discipline.

RZ- Cool! I once rode a pony, trained her a bit. We had our times, she threw me off and I landed face first in the arena. It was apperantly quite a sight.

SisKate- Awesome! My horse is 14, he's quite broke. He has Hollywood Dun It and Gunsmoke in him somewhere. I'm not sure. He can ride western pleasure, halter, and a bunch of stuff. He's kind of needs to work on the right lead. He's stubborn when it comes to picking it up when we're just doing a regular ride.

Mute- That's cool! I love sorrels, we have about 3 of them where I board my horse. My horse has a really nice tail, but stringy mane. It's actually quite pathetic. Hollywood Dun It has this nice and flowing mane and you look at my horse and think, how is he related to this horse. lol. That sucks that you can't ride him a lot. My horse was on stall rest for like a week or so becuase he was limping a lot, first he had a hot nail, then I think he might have been cut a little short. He's fine now though, back to his little tricks.

I've got a two year old Tobiano Paint Filly named Aurora Borealis (Borie for short). I've just started her riding this year, only lightly though, 'cause I don't want to stunt her growth. She's got TONS of attitude, and she can escape from anything! I swear, we can't even keep her locked up in the barn, 'cause she'll slip right under into the next stall and then jump out! It gets annoying, but I love her anyway!

Well, I'm not exactly sure what you mean by that. But she's got pure blood lines, and is registerable, though not registered yet. She was actually an accident, a surprise package, but that just makes her more special...

Not that I know of. Her sire's name is Lucky's Emphasis, and I know that he did really well in the shows locally, but I don't know if he ever went on to be anything else...

I'm hoping to get her into endurance racing. There are some big races that go on every year where I live, and I would LOVE to enter her in one of those, but not for a couple of years, considering she's pretty young. I love to ride english though, and she's not an english horse, so I'm planning on taking my mom's horse to jumping events, when he gets a little older as well. But I'm going to try and get Borie into a few halter classes soon, I think it would be good for her...

Btw, here's a picture of my Borie!

Nice color on her! That's cool! I was going to enter my horse in a Green as Grass reining even, but I didn't think I was ready for it. I'm keeping an eye open for the next one.

Daisy- It's okay. Someday I'm sure you'll own one. Do you take lessons?
