Why is it that a player is a member of the EBA, has pledged not to over breed and yet is doing it anyway?
I am not going to reveal who this person is but I hear more than just me has been having problems with this person too.
We all know that over breeding is not a good thing, this has been said over and over and over that it reduces the value of the animals and yet it seems certain people just don't care.
This person or others like said person have no business being in the EBA. |

Well since they pledged to not over breed, and are doing it anyway, shouldn't the leader of the club warn them and then kick them from the EBA?

Here here.
I agree they should be warned.
All in favor....
*A good old fashioned witch hunt* Lol
No seriously though, this is damaging the value of the animals concerned, and isn't a good example for others.

This matter is being looked into as we speak.
The problem with being the founder of a club with multiple members is that it takes time to get both sides of a story and many times, you're d@mned if you do and d@mned if you don't.
I'm going to start searching the market and looking for patterns in the accused's behavior - if anyone has had problems with someone, the more proof you can provide (i.e. quoted text from PM's or posts of a person's auction posts), the better - you can't refute proof, which makes my job MUCH easier.

Ohmygosh, Drmchaser, is this the same person that we were discussing? I'm really glad that you brought it to the forums!
I am so happy you're back in action, Amanda... I was kinda getting worried.

I'm sorry to hear about this, and I'm sorry to you guys for not being here to help. I have been on very rarely due to my new job and extra responsibilities. But rest assured I AM trying to sort things out to get myself back on here.
I also have had a problem or two with a certain person, but it has been of my own creations so have tried to handle the problem myself.
Please, if there is anything I can do to help then just let me know, and I am truly sorry that I seem to have abandoned you all. DX |

As frustrating as it is, this issue happens frequently. Sometimes players don't even realize that they are overpopulating animals, until someone informs them on the issue of overbreeding, while some know they are, and are just desperate for money, tokens, or even popularity.
And since they are a member of the EBA is even more dissapointing.
And somewhat embarrassing, too.
So I think before we just go kicking people out of the club, we should give them a chance to realize what is happening. I'm definetly not suggesting that overbreeding is ever okay, I am just stating what might be the problem here. And just because the act of overbreeding is frowned upon by most players, doesn't mean that the player knows it is not okay.

Just curious, what number is considered overbreeding? Is it the same for males and females?
And if you overbreed a pair to get the rarer colour in the offspring you want, but then release all your surplus animals, does that count? |

The situation is being monitored, MULTIPLE warnings have been given, and as I said before, the more evidence that is gathered, the easier my job becomes - you can't refute FACTS.
Keep me informed, people! I am just about ready to make my move, but I want to be sure.

Ferox, just so you know, releasing of surplus animals as opposed to selling them) is considered VERY repsonsible!
