Ocean Breeze, chapter 1 [Please read!]

Here is a little story I wrote of last night and I wanted to share I guess. Its a female Albatross as the main character, named Mysty and its breeding season. Will continue if people like. Here it is!

Ocean Breeze, Chapter 1

Dawn appeared on the horizon, as the winds of the Atlantic ocean set in, Mysty, a rare Short tailed Albatross, awoke. Flying on the great currents generated by a recent tsunami, Mysty was hunting for her breakfast. As she flew, she saw many Frigate birds and Puffins, even seagulls. However, she thought her species was the king of the sea birds, as her species is among such rarity and beauty. she looked down, only to see a large school of herring beneath the surface of the ocean. Mysty folded her great wings for a dive, she then skimmed the endless ocean and had caught her breakfast. She swallowed it all with one great gulp and smiled to herself. She knew it was now breeding season, she would now find the love of her life...

Wonderful! What made you think of birds though?

Thanks and Well I really like birds so that's why I chose eagles for the RP and since i like seabirds and didn't want an ordinary seagull, My first thought was an albatross. I am just really into birds I guess.

I'll post chapter 2, maybe three also later, probably at night.

Well right now my baby is asleep in his bonding pouch and he's like totally possesive of my arm so I have to type with one hanf! Laughing

His name is Desperaux after the mouse cuz he has really big ears and a sweet temperment! lol srry if I'm cluttering your topic, I'll pm you instead. Smile

oh no its fine, I have read the book where Desperaux is in, its really a good book. Desperaux must love your arm, lol, maybe we should take this to PM.

Ocean Breeze, Chapter 2

This was Mysty's first ever year to be breeding, she was very excited. The sun was rising fast as mourning ended and transitioned to noon. she knew where the site was from her days as a little chick, she enjoyed those times. Mysty then got back to reality she headed toward the breeding grounds, racing and skimming the surface of the sea. A storm was starting to brew some nasty waves so Mysty cleared the clouds and the sun warmed her brilliant snow white feathers. She heard the roaring of the storm below her, but she was not worried as her species were the gliders and flying masters of the sky! Mysty laughed and said I can't wait, but its going to take days before I get there! Shaking her head, she needed to stay alert, in case if she past it! She continued towards her destination and laughed as the great sun shined.

Sorry I haven't updated in a while! I have been busy. But here is Chapter 3, Posting chapter 4 tonight or tomorrow afternoon!

Ocean Breeze, Chapter 3

Mysty had flown several days, she had flew non-stop, not even resting or eating. she had grown tired and her eyes were almost a pure purple and were quite drooped, she swept down on an ocean thermal and finally ate. She swallowd gratefully and continued on, satisfied. As night set in on the horizo of the sea, are Albatross named Mysty began to fall asleep. Eventually, she fell asleep for a few hours and dreamed of a mate. A few hours later she had awakened and yawned, Mysty was closing on on her destination, she saw several Albatrosses of her kind and knew she was close. She finally sighted the breeding ground, males showing off right and left, females being impressed and unimpressed. goggle-eyed, she landed and walked ocwardly on her feet, she finally was used to it and waddled along, looking at all of he own kind, she felt happiness... Mysty then laughed happily to herself as she settled in and smiled and as sun shined on her feathers....

Ocean Breeze, Chapter 4

Mysty was finally among her own kind, with a bonus, it was her first breeding season. She had longed before fore a mate and eggs and children of her own, now she would have the chance! But first she would have to go eat, she took off for lunch, she saw a small but large sunfish and ate it, it filled her up good enough. she turned back and saw the males showing off once again, spreading there wings and beak cackleing. It filled her heart with great warmth, she landed and made the call she was ready to find a mate, several males began to cackle and show off to her. She giggled and there was two males that stould out above the rest, a small but beautiful male that had a few tail feathers gone and a large muscaler male. Her instincts told her "The bigger, the better", but she disagreed, she wanted a loyal caring male for her mate. Misty Sounded out to the two and she strided forward gracefully to the two, the seemed to gape wide open at her beauty, but she didn't want to have a mate just for that. the two males looked at her with beaks with open and eyes directly at her, she giggled, waiting...
