I've seen several posts about game bugs unfixed, no moderators, upgrades never coming throuhg, etc.

2 weeks ago I ordered tokens and paid through Paypal, the order was processed by paypal on the ninth, no tokens. 10th no tokens,
123h email Johnarras- no answer
12 th email the other mod - no answer

Tuesday am finally abli to get into Orbis and create a trouble ticket, which sat for over 12 hours

Is no one at Orbis taking any responsibilty for the game???

Wish I could program

phooey

This happens to me ALL the time.

It's a bit of a shame. Even on weekdays it can take 4 or 5 days for tokens through paypal.

Sad

That is why I use a debit card, you get your tokens right away.

Doesn't it have to be a credit crd?, and not just a bank account debit card?

It IS a pain....But its not just SBF that John and Nef have to juggle with, so I guess like every busy business, sometimes you just gotta wait...

...I feel ya though >.<

( I personally use a pre-paid credit card for the purchase of my tokens....That way if I don't have the spare cash, I'm forced to wait till I do and don't wind up in debt...But the tokens arrive instanty Very Happy )

Cosmos, I use my bank debit card to buy tokens and get them instantly.

Well out of the five (or are there more now?) orbis sites, SBF is by far their least sucessful. And least active. So with fewer active members it is less important to the overall orbis worlds collection... We don't get very much attention but we tend to ourselves quite well.

Don't worry, John and Nef get hundreds of emails daily, so even after days they may not have gotten there yet.

I wouldn't rely on Orbis Worlds if I were you, especially if it's urgent. When a scammer stole the equivalent of US$30 from me and I sent in a ticket to have something done about it, it took almost a year for the game staff to get back to me. In that time the scammer continued to play the game unimpeded, overbred an AE that was rightfully mine so that it was no longer worth what I paid for it, spent the payment so that a refund wasn't possible, and then eventually got bored of this game and quit, so that any punishment the game staff could possibly hand out, eg: banning their accounts, would have no effect.

Suffice to say I am very bitter about it, and have entirely lost faith in the Orbis company and its staff.

well, the other times I have had no problem- after the initial response to the help ticket, nothing

I think I'll report it to Paypal, at least I may get my money back - and I was going to use the tokens on more space and maybe a new variation or 2

Misty Glen, I am so sorry that happened to you. maybe if they paid more attention to Sandbox farm it would be more successful

I second what RZ just said. I'd say if they modified some things, and asked for opinions and were actully interested in making changes based on current player's opinions, maybe it'd bring in more waves of people, and rekindle old players to get back into it.

I think they should consider finding new staff, too. People aren't going to only come around when there are dire dramas undergoing, and would give the market a shove or two with competition.

That's just what I think. Could go either way.

Arrrrgh.

I bought tokens on Thursday..

Paypal goes through right away so why the 4 odd day wait?

Still none.

Waiting kills me. Lol

If I could code id be creating a new game as we speak. Six days now my ticket has been "escalated". I guess $20.00 means so little to Orbis that they could care less about fixing my problem-theyve got my money, why should they care

and they wonder why SBF is the least profitable of their games - if they are stealing $20.00 from every player they're making money hand over fist

I don't think its a case of being deliberately ignored - Personal emails are a little slow in reply as well, and they do have a large number of issues to deal with, and minimal staff with which to do it...

I feel the growing dissatisfaction amongst the players, and it gives me a sense of unease that one day soon I'll try to log on...And SBF will no longer exist....It seems to happen to me on a regular basis...

I know I sound like a redundant, broken record...But try and hold tight. As much as you are irked right now, how much more would you be if they closed SBF down and all our hard work ( and cash! ) is lost?

I don't want that to happen Sad

They wouldn't close SBF. They'd just stop putting in the man hours and instead concentrate on their more profitable games, which would have a greater rate of return for the time they put into it, and would more than cover the costs to keep SBF online, as well as any loss of business incurred from neglecting it.

Any of this ringing a bell?

I feel pretty confident in saying that we're alone here.

I, personally, haven't seen a mod in almost a year. And when they do pop up at utterly random times, its like, hm; where have you been? Nice to see you finally...

This game has been run by a handful of users for a long, long time. We tend to figure out issues on our own.. sigh.. the lonely little SBF community.
