I created this to symbolize my love for the now dead Flower. I'm sure that many of you have seen the TV show on Animal Planet, called Meerkat Manor. Flower, the strong and fearless dominant female died a few years ago due to a run into a deadly puff adder. The day Flower died was like the day, people across the country's hearts died.

Well I just felt bad the day she died. She was like the queen of the kalahari and it took her a LONG time to get there. She had nearly fifty meerkats in her clan. I aslo feel bad for Zaphod because he spent all his life with Flower but had to become a rover because there were no unrelated females in the group.

Rocket Dog

Rocket Dog Whiskers is a daughter of Flower Whiskers and Youssarian Whiskers. She was born on December 6, 2003. After her mother's death, she would later became the dominant female of the Whiskers group. When the Whiskers group temporarily split into two groups during a drought and food shortage in the third series, Rocket Dog assumed the leadership of the splinter group. She mated with a roving Zappa male in the middle of the third series, but her pups died in a premature birth caused by the strain of her new-found leadership. When the splinter group was reunited with the Whiskers, Rocket Dog returned to being a subordinate female under her mother without any fuss. After Flower's death near the end of the series, Rocket Dog permanently assumed leadership of the entire Whiskers group, and moved the group to a new burrow. Wilson, a roving male from the Commandoes, attempted to mate with Rocket Dog, but was chased off by Zaphod, Flower's former partner and still dominant male. In the last episode of the third series, Maybelline rebelled against her sister's rule, but Rocket Dog was able to maintain leadership, causing Maybelline to leave the Whiskers and start her own group.

Rocket Dog was not a usual subordinate. She did not mate with roving males and get pregnant like her other wayward sisters. She maintained a low key member of the Whiskers, until she was needed as the dominant female after her mother, Flower's death.

When her mother, Flower Whiskers, died of a snake bite, she took dominance, as she was the oldest female in the group. She had a stuggle most of her time as the dominant female and leader of the group. She had many unsucessfull litters. One of her litters made history because she gave birth to them above ground. This was never seen before. Sadly, the one pup born was too young to survive. One of her main problems was her younger sister, Monkulus.

Monkulus was very fiesty and refused to accept her sister as the dominant female. In this retaliation, she split the Whiskers and formed her own group that became known as the Aztecs Mob. The Aztec's luck, unlike that of the Whiskers, was growing. Not long after the formation of the mob, the Incas Mob, a splinter group of Whiskers males, joined the Aztecs. This made the defence of the mob stronger, as well as giving the mob a boost in numbers. It seemed that the Aztecs were destined to succeed, while the Whiskers struggled to survive.

In Season four of Meerkat Manor, Rocket Dog continued to have trouble; however, her luck in pups turned around as she gave birth to her first and final surviving litter in November. This litter included Nugget Whiskers (male) and Beaker Whiskers (female). Rocket Dog continuesly aborted her litters as dominant female, while she was pregnant with them she would evict many of the adult females who banded up and left. Most of the Whiskers males were also getting old and left. The Whiskers mob shrunk dramatically.

Unfortunaty Rocket Dogs first year of leader ship was her last and on the April of 2008, she was run over by a car. This, of course, led to her death. But, after Rocket Dog's death, her younger half-sisther, Ella Whiskers took over the Whiskers as the new dominant female of the Whiskers Mob.

Ella/Mango

Ella was born on August 26th, 2005 in the Whiskers Mob with one sister, Billy and two brothers, Miles and Baker. Ella's mother was Flower. Ella, Billy, Miles and Baker all survive their first year. At the end of 2006 Ella got pregnant, her mother soon died and before, after her death Ella, Flo, Petra and Hawkeye gave birth to 8 pups, Burdock, Rhogan Josh, Amira, Squig, Cheriqui, Rufus, Etosha and Murray (the mothering of each pup is unknown). Rhocket Dog took dominance. During the end of 2007, Rocket Dog began evicting females from the group. Ella's two brothers left the group with three other males and joined The Commandos Mob. Rocket Dog evicted Ella on January 2008. However, Ella came back in the group and gave birth. Ella's sister Billy started a new group with Flo and Bananas called Van Helsing Mob. On February 7th, 2008 Ella gave birth to two females, named, Oriole and Sabota and one male, named, Marico. Amira also gave birth to one male, named, Juno. Then in April Rocket Dog was run over by a car so Ella became the dominant female. After 5 whiskers males left the group to join the Lazuli Mob, (Wollow, Michu Pichu, Rufus, Axel and Rhogan Josh) a Lazuli male named Thundercat joined the Whiskers (He was kicked out by the Whiskers males). The group was down to 7 members in June. Ella, Thundercat, Nugget, Juno, Oriole, Sabota and Marico (Beaker and Amira mystiriously dissappeared on July 2008). On July 29th, 2008 Ella gave birth to a male pup, named Savuka. On October 14th, 2008 Ella gave birth to 6 pups, three females named, McGee, Enili and Popple and three males named, Rozza, Gump and Pumplemousse. All pups survived. Ella's next litter came on January, 2009, when she gave birth to Marxxs, VWM137, Mimaji and Pitio. All were males. Shortly after the four was born the Whiskers encountered Kung Fu Mob in March. The fight went on for almost an hour before the Whiskers were forced to retreat but, Popple and Pumplemousse disappeared from the group (They still haven't made it back to the Whiskers). They were lost and then in April VWM137 was predated. At least, Ella, with Thundercat at her sight, can be a great leader and she is still producing pups ( Ella gave birth in March and in May but, the pups are unknown). Every two months the Whiskers' numbers change. Ella hasn't become the Queen of the Kalahari yet, but she is going to be.

In the second season of Meerkat Manor, Ella was renamed Mango, and was seen as a pup. In the fourth season of the show, Ella's name was changed again to Sophie and she is seen as a babysitter, and as the new dominant female of the Whiskers. However, the "Sophie" character was actually played by three different meerkats. The real "Sophie" character was Mozart's first pup but died when she was about a month old in the well-known Youssarian ''accident''. Her sister, Tina Sparkle, took her name and later, Flower's (Mozart's mother's) daughter, Ella/Mungo (Mozart's smaller sister). Watch the video The Truth of Sophie. Flower/Lady Day

Flower Whiskers (A.K.A Lady Day) was the dominate female of the Whiskers Mob, the the stars of the hit telivision series, Meerkat Manor, mother of many well-known meerkats, including Shakespeare Whiskers, Tosca Whiskers, Mozart Whiskers, and many more. She was born in 2000, her mother being a Young Ones female, her father, a Rascals male. Flower, like many dominate females, had reserved the right to have pups exclusively for herself, and had evicted females of the Whiskers who give birth, thus ensuring that her offspring had the best chance for survival. She was fitted with a radio collar around her neck that allowed film crews and scientist to track her and her family's moves.

In 2000, Holly and Kine's daughter, Flower, was born with her litter mates, Petal, Thumper, and Hazel. Petal dies as a pup. Flower was the younger and the smallest pup in her litter. The child of the dominate female, and one of the founders of the Whiskers. She was the grandaughter of Morgause, one of the famous Avatar sisters. Before her dominance, in 2002, she had a litter of pups, of course, breaking the rules. It is unknown if they survived. She became dominate female in 2002, after her sister half older Vialli, was taken by a bird of prey. Dominant male was originally Youssarian, but later, there was a fight, and Flower's mate Zaphod became dominant. In 2005, the Meerkat Manor series that she was the star of was filmed. She, that same year, evicted her daughther, Baddiel (Tosca) from the Whiskers Mob. During that time, she had became dominant of one of the two Whiskers splinter groups, both small ones. Flower died on Janurary twenty-sixth in 2007. As of 2006, a documentary is being filmed, Queen of the Kalahari, and some think that it is the story of Flower's life. She now has many grandchildren.

In January of 2007, she was bitten a snake, a Puff Adder and was dealt a fatal bite to the head. Now, the new dominant female is Rocket Dog Whiskers. Her partner Zaphod stayed dominant male for a month after Flower's death, but left on a roving mission. Zaphod later returned to the group as dominant male, until Rocket Dog is able to find a mate. On April 28th 2008 Rocket Dog died, Flower's other daughter and Rocket Dog's half sister Ella took over the group. Ella might be come the new Queen of the Kalahari.

Zaphod

Zaphod Whiskers is the former dominant male of the Whiskers Mob. He, and his brother, Yossarian, were of Vivian origin but, joined the Whiskers in 2002. Yossarian quickly became the dominant male, with Flower at his side. Zaphod refused to be beaten out by his brother and challenged him for the position of dominant male. Zaphod prevailed and left his brother humiliated. Zaphod became dominant male, with Flower, the dominant female, as his partner. Zaphod and Flower led the Whiskers through a prosperous, six year, era. Zaphod was one of the largest and one of the most experienced meerkats on the manor and with one of the Kalahari's largest and most successful mobs behind him, he remained a force to be reckoned with. Unfortunately for him and the Whiskers, the death of Flower brought about great change. Zaphod left the group for a short period of time before returning and resuming the dominant male position, although unable to breed with any of the Whiskers females. Eventually, he and six other males became seperated from the rest of the group and formed the Incas Mob. These males then met up with the Aztecs Mob. He, along with the group of young males are currently staying at the Aztec's burrow. Zaphod is the dominant male of the Aztec's group with his niece, Monkulus, as the dominant female. and his new mate.

Zaphod was born into the Vivian Mob on December 9, 1998. His father was Phoenix and his mother was Vivian. Born with him was his brother, Yossarian and sister Rapunzel. Zaphod grew up in the Vivian Mob for nearly two years before he and his brother and other Vivian males left the group on an extended roving expidition.

During this extended roving expidition, Zaphod, Yossarian, and nine other Vivian males came across the Whiskers Mob. Which, at the time, consisted of Risca, Artemis, Zola, Aprodite, Vialli, Ugly Pup, Smithers , Aramis, Wahine, Flower, Rydapuni, Dangerous Dave, and Mi Julie. The two, along with several other Vivian males, entered the mob relatively easily.

Zaphod's older brother, Izit, quickly took the position of dominant male next to Risca. Izit lost the dominant position to Zazu. Not long after, Zazu and Risca lose their dominant positions, and Flower, Wahine, and Vialli fight for dominant female while Zaphod, Yossarian, Alexander, Phooey, and Attila compete to become the dominant male. Vialli and Zaphod won the fight for dominance. Risca, Wahine, Izit, Vervain, and Deejay leave the group and form the Gattaca. Vialla gives birth to the first litter of, dominant male, Zaphod. The litter constisted of seven pups.

Not long after this, Vialli is killed and Flower, Smithers, and Ugly Pup fight for the position of dominant female. Flower wins. Flower soon produces a litter of three and then a litter fathered by Zaphod that constisted of four pups. Then, Zaphod is challenged by Alexender for dominance, but Zaphod wins and remains dominant. Then, Yossarian challenges Zaphod and Yossarian loses. After Yossarian's loss, Phooey challenges Zaphod and Phooey is beaten. After being humiliated by his brother, Yossarain challenged Zaphod again. This time, beating Zaphod and taking over as dominant male of the Whiskers Mob.

Flower produces two litters under Yossarian. Then, after Alexener's unsuccessful challenge against Yossarian, Zaphod challenged him once again. Zaphod beats his brother, once again, taking back the position of dominant male. Zaphod would remain the dominant male of the Whiskers for many years to come. He and Flower led the Whiskers through an era of growth and prosperity. During this time, Flower produced another eight successful litter's under Zaphod. This prosperous era came to an end on January 25, 2007. Flower's death changed the Whiskers Mob entirely.

Zaphod, having lost his mate, begins to rove but soon returns to the Whiskers after the Whiskers Split. Then one day, a rover was spotted near the Whiskers' burrow. Zaphod, along with six other males, chased the rover far away. But, they were unable to find their way back to the rest of the Whiskers. The group of males became known as the Incas Mob. The Incas soon came across the Aztecs, the splinter group that had been seperated from the Whiskers during Zaphod's roving mission. The males join the Aztecs and kick out the dominant male that had came from the Young Ones Mob. Zaphod took the position of dominant male next to his niece Monkulus. Zaphod has been dominant male of the Aztecs for about two years now. Zaphod is ten years old and remains the dominant male and one of the most experienced and respected meerkats on the manor.

Wich ones are you talkin about? Thats all the info about those curtain whiskers residents that this site gave me, but I'm sure I could possibly find mor here and there! Anyways, heres Shakespeare!

Shakespeare

In 2003, Flower Whiskers gave birth to her second litter. In this litter, Shakespeare, Freud, Einstein and Mozart were born into the Whiskers Mob. Two years later, the researchers from Cambridge University began filming the soon-to-be hit telivision show, Meerkat Manor. Shakespeare, along with all of the other meerkats in the Whiskers Mob, became the stars of this telivision show. Shakespeare quickly became a fan-favorite when on the first episode, A Family Affair, he both saved his abandoned little brother, Mitch Whiskers, and he survives a deadly double bite from a Puff Adder. During his recovery from the deadly close encounter with the Puff Adder, Shakespeare was unable to contribute to the mob during several events.

Some of these events include two encounters with the Lazuli Mob and one with the Gattaca Mob. When the Whiskers were momentarily split up, Shakespeare stayed with Flower Whiskers and the other five meerkats. Also, during his recovery, Youssarian Whiskers started a burrow move that killed one of Tosca Whiskers' pups, Tosca was evicted for good after the splinter group was reunited with the Whiskers, and Youssarian set off on a mercy mission to save Daisy Whiskers and her pups after they were seperated. As stated earlier, Shakespeare was not able to contribute to any of these on goings because of his condition after the snake bite.

During a Lazuli attack, Shakespeare defended some of his fellow pups against Big Si Lazuli . Big Si, the Lazuli's dominant male at the time, emerged from the burrow that he and Shakespeare fought in. Shakespeare did not come out, but his body was not found. He has not been seen since, and it is presumed that he died, since his body was never found. Outside the reservation, a meerkat much like Shakespeare was seen. The meerkat was the dominant male of a unknown group, it still unknown if this is Shakespeare, but many beleive it is him.

Shakespeare was born into the Whiskers Mob in 2002. He is the son of Flower Whiskers and Zaphod Whiskers. He was born into the second litter that Flower had ever had. Shakespeare has been one of Meerkat Manor's biggest stars and fan favorites. Amazingly, he survived a double bite, on his neck and leg, from a Puff Adder. He also saved, his brother, Mitch Whiskers when he was abandoned by Kinkajou Whiskers when she was supposed to be babysitting him. He was a major contributer to the Whiskers and had great dominant potential for when his father, Zaphod, passed away. But, after Shakespeare's dissappearence the Whiskers lost one of their greatest male contributers.
