Contacts are sooo much more comfortable than glassesXD Except for in my case, because something in most contact solutions bothers my eyes. So it was painful for me, but... I'm not helpingXD You don't notice them once you put them on, and it's easy to take them off and put them on. And you don't have to worry about breaking them, or smudging them, or getting cut with them if you get hit in the face. That happened to me so many timesXD So I'd totally get contacts when you can:] |

I saw someone with teal contacts and they were amazing<3 saidly, though, with colored contacts, they cost more and you can only wear a pair 12 times before you have to replace them:[ As opposed to a month with regular contacts. |

I used to wear glasses, but my eyes really weren't that bad. So I had some eye therapy for 6 months and now I'm seeing 20/20 in both eyes. It was super expensive and I had to practice every day, but now that I don't have to wear the glasses, I think it really was worth it.
I tried contacts for about a week, then I had to stop wearing them because they made my eyes so dry. Even the expensive ones that were supposed to help with that.

I just got glasses, too. I love them, but since I ride horses (especially in shows and jumping) it's quite different and helpful to wear them. I only use my glasses when I need them, as I am slightly nearsighted, too, but I would have to say cleaning them and making sure that you don't sit on them is the best advice I could give! Otherwise, enjoy getting to see better!

Make sure they don't get scratched, it seems like its just dirty but when you clean them the scratch doesn't come off.
Don't get in fights while wearing them.
Don't drop them on concrete.

Actually, nearsighted vision is much more common in younger people and the farsighted is more likely to develop over time. So, you being younger, are more likely to be near sighted. :] |

oh yeah that makes sense, bcuz "older" people usually have reading glasses on all the time (my dad's an example) the sad thing is tho. the doctor said my eyes are so messed up sometime next year Im probly gonna have to go back to get glasses for seeing near and far. isnt that sad? |
