The easiest way to get money is by boosting your prestige and taking "exams", or turns. If you haven't already, build the buildings you have available to you, and claim your rescues (the ones that say 1 male and 1 female next to the species). If you get two of the exact same thing, you can sell one for additional money. Once you've done all of that, take some exams (click on "Examine Animals"). Each time you take an exam, you should get money. That will get you some cash to start with and then you can start to add animals to your enclosure. Each DIFFERENT animal (either different colour, different breed, or different variation) will increase your prestige and gain even more money per turn. You can also enter your animals into events or put your male animals up for stud.
