Aww this is a nice idea, and I'd like to post my memories of some of my babies.
Joe- my very old/blind canary. He had several strokes but still sang beautifully up till the end.
Cindy - My Grans very fat dog. My gran wanted her put to sleep because my gran was moving. So we took her on for the brife remainder of her life. I always remember when out for a walk, she'd come to a muddy patch and look at you as if to say "I'm not walking through THAT!"
Ben - My first Border Collie. He was the only pup at the farm who came and sat by my legs when we went to choose. I was about 6years old at the time. His brothers and sisters just wanted to play, but he wanted fuss. He chose us really.
Gourami - Our kissing gourami. Yes I know this sounds strange, but I had a huge amount of respect for that fish. He outlived the others by months. He just kept hanging on. We wanted to get rid of our tank, but waited until all the fish had died of natural causes, but this gourami just kept going anf going and going.
and last, but deffinatly not least.
Toby - Oh my boy. I loved him more than I can put into words. The first horse I ever called my own. He was bad tempered, rude, and naughty, but God did I love him. I miss him every day and was glad that I could be there to comfort him as he was put to sleep.
Sleep tight my babies, I will meet you all again at Rainbow Bridge! |

This topic has made me sad especially the one with the guinea pig. I had this little guinea pig named Ashely. I loved her so much. She was blind and died when she was five. I was nine years old and I was on my way to my grandparents. I was in the car with my sister and my dad came out of the house (he wasn't coming with us) and called my mom out. I also had a dog named Diamond (I won't say whether she's alive or not... that would give away my age) We both thought Diamond had died (She was so young!) When we got home I remember her lying there covered in a box, me crying so loudly the neighbors woke up and told us to keep it down. We buried her outside my window, right in her box. I remember when she was alive, I was young and i was spinning her around outside... She was my first pet I never really thought she'd go I never respected her and gave her much attention the attention you finally relize once they're gone |

RIP Dustin (Dog--October 2000-December 2008) I really miss ya, buddy
RIP Grandpa S. The farm's just not the same without you, your teasing, and your mischievous grin.
RIP Great Grandma and Great Grandpa: I hope you've finally reunited.
RIP Elaine. You were just a friend of the family, but you and Mark were like another set of grandparents to me. I miss you both. |
