I agree with people up above. I have a ton of chickens. When I first got them (they're 6 years old), I had 4 Buff Orpingtons. Besides being gorgeous laying hens, they are very good brood hens. We had two hens that, in total, hatched a good 10 chicks. (They were adorable) I also have 2 Barred Rocks, and 8+ Rhode Island Reds. I have multiple others, but they are mostly all mutts of some kind. Out of this, there are 2 roosters. The Barred Rock, which I don't especially like, and my favorite of all of my chickens, a gorgeous, tan, speckled, HUGE rooster. He's only a baby (He was born in July of last year) and I absolutely ADORE him. I plan on showing him in all of the summer fairs. I'm sure that he'll win. He's probably the biggest chicken that you've seen in your life with long tail feathers that shine in the light. Oh well, you probably don't want to hear me ramble on and on about my pretty rooster.
