Ok been clothes shopping today. (A rarity for me) and all the shops seem to have 80's clothes in them.
I was alive through the last 80's scene guys, and it wasn't pretty. Why on earth is it coming back? lol |

I don't know, mash, but I am appalled, too... PLEASE tell me those horrid "jelly" shoes/bracelets/rings aren't coming back, too!
How about feathered hair? PUKE! Skinny ties? LAME!
PASTELS?!?! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Oh, how I hated the 80's... do they really have to make a comeback? Really?!

Oh, I hope those jelly shoes stay in the past, those were horrible! And if the nasty pastels come back...
I've noticed leg warmers are starting to make a comback too 0_o |

Hey, I grew up in the 80's that's when the music made more sense and wasn't someone just screaming into a microphone and calling it singing. Yeah, I admit some of the styles were pretty bad but the hair bands were huge in the 80's and that is what I like. I love men with long hair as long as they take care of it, there just are not enough of them anymore. I love the black leather jackets, I currently wear one and I have a black and white one stored away that is just to beautiful to wear. It has long white fringe going all the way up the sleeves and across the back and white designs on the shoulders and a white collar and belt. I wish I had a picture of it to put online. |

lol No more gross (in terms of cleanliness) than long hair on girls. If it's clean and well-cared for, there's no difference (chemically, genetically, whatever) between male hair and female hair. I agree, well-kept long hair on men is hawtness :3
I don't pay attention to fashion though, and barely ever go shopping, so not really up on what's "in" or not XD |

*crosses fingers and chants "please don't come here, please don't come here"*
I haven't noticed anything glaringly 80's in our stores yet ( I'm in N.Z ) so if it IS making a come-back...We'll either have delayed introduction or, hopefully, won't pick it up at all....
Now, 80's t.v, I don't mind a bit..... |

nope, sorry, but I just looove long hair on guys. (think Legolas, Aragorn, etc from LOTR, Tristan from Stardust) Like drmchaser said, if they take care of it, it looks good. In my opinion a guy with well-cared-for long hair looks aristocratic and sophisticated. however if they don't take care of it... blehck. |

Agreed. Music was better. Some CLASSIC songs/bands in the 80's
(Ehem Adam and the Ants) lol

Long hair on guys? Hummana hummana hummana. And you've pointed out 3 GREAT guys for comparison lol. (Love all 3, very tasty lol)
I just don't think I can cope with bright leggings/legwarmers and sweatbands. Crimped hair, bright pink lipstick, pony tails on the side of your head. OMG OMG OMG.
I just can't bare it lol |

lol. I knew the legolas example would convert the non-believers. as for real life, I'll agree that it's certainly not common, but I have seen it done, and it works. |
