Sick :(

I'm sorry I havn't been around much in the past couple of weeks, I've been sick. I've been having issues with my stomach for over a month now, it has been hurting really badly. I doubt if any of you remember, but this same thing happend to me a year ago and the doctors thought it was an ulcer. They ran a bunch of tests on me this time and found out that it isn't ulcers, they have no idea what's wrong with me. The only test they haven't tried yet is an endoscopy (a little camera that they stick down your throat and into your digestive tract) so I'm getting that done on the 23rd. Hopefully then they will be able to figure out how to make me feel better.

Then to top it off I caught a flu viruse that made me miss school for almost 2 weeks, I just got back to school this monday and then by wednesday and thursday my stomach hurt so bad I missed school. Then to add the icing to the cake friday I got some stomach bug and was puking all day long. Stomach pain + vomiting and a fever= lots of fun All of this made me loose over 4 pounds, which also sucks...

And the timing of this has just been ideal *sarcasm* I have my finals starting on tuesday and I'm behind by nearly 3 weeks of material!!! Gah! I'm hoping my teachers will show some mercy and let me take them after Christmas break, I'd probably flunk them if I had to take them on schedule.

*climbes out of her pit of self pity* I'll stop whining now. I've been trying to keep a postive attitude, but honestly it has felt nice to moan and groan a bit to you guys. I just hope that my doctors can figure out what the heck is wrong with me so I can go back to my normal life.

Awww. I'm so sorry Queso! I hope you get better! {Yeah I've been down that road not fun.} Couple of weeks ago I got a fever, vomited + migrane. Thing happened like 5 months before. *Sigh* The school wouldn't even let me go home! Cheek! But I hope it all passes for you.

I was able to go to school today and my teachers are letting me make up my finals after Christmas break, so that's a huge releif.

Aww, that totally blows, it must be so frustrating to have something on going and not know what it is, especially if you have to keep going to tests and appointments and things. You must feel pretty crappy I hope they figure it out, then you'll have some peace of mind and hopefully an easier time treating it. What a stroke of bad luck! I'm glad your up and about enough to let us know whats been wrong though, that must mean your feeling a little better. Chin up!

Thanks Marlee. The doctors still haven't figured out what's wrong with me so I'm going in for surgery tomorrow so they can look around inside my abdomen and hopefully figure out whats wrong. Wish me luck

You have all my sympathy - Ive had all manner of stomach problems all my life - and all the really fun(not) tests

Hope the Drs can help you, you might want to do a little research on your own as a truly good diagnostician only seems to be on TV
