I had nothing to do earlier today and decided I'd try out lineart and cell-shading and whatnot. An hour and a half later, this is what I came up with xD It's the first time I've ever done it, so yah... Please don't be too harsh on it. And I know his forelock is terrible and that it's totally different than the rest of the mane. I'm going to fix it eventually, but I'm kind of sick of that horse's picture right now. ^^;

OMG! He is SO cute, by the way, how do you do line art? He cute! Realy god for a first try!!!
(And I'm NOT being sarcastic, I really like it!!!)
I like it withought the cell shading though, it l  ks much better withought it.
(By the way, I saved it to my pictures!!!)

Thanks I did it on GIMP - the lines was done with a path, the coloring with masks.
He's already been cell-shaded, by the way I have the original lines if you'd like to see them and compare, though... -shrug-
Also, could you please not save it? I'd much rather my work not be on someone else's computer unless it's been paid for and arranged in some way with credits and whatnot involved. Sorry. |

I couldn't come up with muse for any manips, so I decided to try a full-body pose. I might end up using it for one of my horses, I'm not sure. -shrug- Very obviously, it's not even close to being finished... But what do you think?

Your lineart is amazing! Where did you learn to draw horses? Do you have a link to any ref used?
Proportions look good too! Keep it up!
(If you want to do me some lines then i'd pay very well for a few full body shots? Non-coloured, just the lines). PM me if interested!
