click the "Examine your animals" button and it gives you money. The more DEFFERENT types of animals and DIFFERENT colors and variations you have, the more money it gives you as your prestige value goes up.

If you go under the topic "Contributions" on the main page of the forum some people are willing to give away money to newbies.
