Hmm.. I'm always hearing from somewhere that when animals have passed on they say they've gone over the Rainbow Bridge (shrugs). But, hey, as long as you're pleased, that's my goal. If you want it all blue I can make it all blue.

Well I can't sleep, I just happend to already have a lineart that fits you little mare, and my heart went out to you for loosing her and *shazam* suddenly it's 1:30 in the morning and I'm nearly finished with an entry!

I wanted to show you what I have so far to make sure I got all of her markings correct and to check that it's true to her conformation. It still needs detail and pollish, but I wanted to make sure that everything is correct before I did anymore.

I do however see some mistakes with her markings, don't worry, it's easy to do Her neck has a bit more white on it than you have, which you can see in this picture of when she was a baby:

Also, I just put up another picture of her when she was older, and it shows her markings fairly clearly.

And technically, her forelock wasn't that long, but it'll work Another thing about her mane, it wasn't completely black and white, she wasn't that simple She also had light and dark brown streaks, whether from fading or what, I don't know, but she was never without some brown hair in with both the white and black/dark brown sections of her mane. (You can see this rather clearly in the head shot provided below.)

Also, her eyes were a light brown-ish color, but I don't seem to have any pictures that show that color really well ... Here's one where you can kind of see it, if you look closely ... but it was a little lighter than what you can see in the picture -- okay, well the scanner didn't keep the correct color of the picture, but do with it what you can?

Also, (I keep finding things ... with my horrible memory and even worse pictures, I only find things I can catch in the pictures ... it's a little hard to remember what a horse looked like exactly when the last time I ever saw her was for a couple of minutes ... over 8 months) I noticed that her front right leg was completely tan, when it should be almost completely white, as well as her hind right leg, but that was more of a really light tan than a pure white... For her front leg, one links I just provided should be helpful for the top of the white marking, and even though it cuts off above her hoof, it was just white the whole way down

Ok thanks, those pics help a lot with the markings! The sun in the others kind of washed out her legs and made it difficult to tell what was really white and what was just glare. I know what you mean about the mane, I used to lease a horse that had one very similar. I can easily change her forelock length, don't worry. I'll try and finish it by the end of the week
