Oh, wow. Okay, I will definitely try all of that when I go to groom him and brush him and all of that. Thanks for the tips! Very insightful! I hope I do it right. haha I will tell you how well it works and how I did it and then you can critique me. |

lol i think we hardly ever have to take our adults, we take them as puppies, imprint it early in them, which is also easier, though i know my stephdad once in his work had to do it with a dog in a house he visited because the dog thougth itself dominant, and came on to him
after he took him down though the dog was a total suck up, he told the owner to fix the issue as he half knew who it was and that they had troubles with it, they didnt, instead sadly some weeks later they chose to put the dog down as to agressive not wanting it to hurt anyone, and now got a new puppy ..makes you so mad to think about that all really needed was to put the dog in its place and it wouldnt been dangerous, the danger behaviour came from the dog trying to asert dominance on humans, if it had firmly been put in place beyond doubt of being bellow humans in hirarchy it would have been a perfectly alrigth dog
actualy more so because its desire to do so show physical strength so put in its place it would been an excelent dog...a pshycical strong dog if trained corectly in the hands of someone who have control is likely to be the best, because they have a drive and dont easily quit..so you just need to train them rigth and they make the best dog of the litters
i know when the day come i pick my dog it will be a combination of look and pshycical strength, the omega is mostly easier to train, but yeah as said, the alpha if you lay down the work makes the best chanse of an superb work dog..and handled rigthly no danger, though of course as above in the hands of clueless owners will become terrors that take over the leadership of the household, and well that can create dangerous situations |

Yeah, that is sad. A waste of a good dog if you ask me.
I think people should look into and study the type of dog they are looking to get. They should know the status of the dog and all of that. Or else sad stuff happens like what you just said. |

sadly not even all breeders know whats what, had a neighbour who was lucky by that, they picked the calmest dog in the litter for him since he was new as they figured it would be easier for him to handle
riiigth
anyhow luckily he was interested in learning, and the type who had a personality to handle the challenge tossed at him of geting an alpha dog, and because of that he got a superb working dog once done training
but it could gone a lot worse due to the breeders lack of knowledge they ment well but was all to wrong in their estimation of the dogs
personaly i am quite sad i aint able to have a dog yet, last year my mom had the most lovely looking male pup and he was also one of the alpha's in the litters (he and a female from the other litter pretty much stood out on top), i would have totaly bougth him if i had had the chanse to actualy care for him, but didnt at the time, still dont have whats needed to care for a dog, but soon i'll be out of school and can slowly start aquirering and set up the needed lifesituation for dogholding *yey* |
