Chicken came first.
Why you may ask. because when God created man he created them as adults why wouldn't he do the same with the animals? |

egg
the hen is a spicies, defined by humans, as we define the hen as a spicies there had to be a first hen litter that came from egg's by parents who where birds but not defined as a hen
be it evolution progress, mutation, cross between 2 spicies who where fertile or whatnot
and even if you do the bird one, we know they came from somewhere and evolution one didnt they develop from dino's and said dino's who flew would have been mutation or whatnot developed from other non flying dino's, hence the egg was in place long before the bird was as such |

I see it more as he created things through fail and testing, and such evolution and the rules it abide by is his doing and his tool to creating
from the most simplest form of life into the very complex one, and it is a continous ongoing process
as a scientific educated person its the only way things make sence for me |

There are two answers. Actually, three. The third being a circle has no beginning. But that's no explanation, is it?
The first is that God created all animals in a flash, as fully grown and mature. Hence, the chicken came first. Then there is evolution, which is more where I stand. You can choose to bring God into this or not. Eventually, a dino-chicken mutated and evolved and laid an egg that was a modern-day chicken. Hence, the egg came first. But, chickens are still evolving so no egg can conatian a "modern" chicken, if each time a hen lays an egg the chicken changes even the slightest bit. So evolution is constantly changing species so there are never really "modern" animals, if you catch my drift.
My theory is that God created evolution itself, not the species right away. He needed to have evolution get rid of all the creatures and features that would not survive and could not survive so the species could better adapt to their changing environment.
Does everyone get it? XD |

well in such aspect it really go all the way back to the first cell, and wheter it was gods doing, or for those not religious just pure luck development
by the defination of breed, a breed is a breed when enough people say so, or a breed is a breed if the breeders agree so
if you aply that to spicies which is really how they come about, scientist discover something and if they define it enough different from anything else then they agree it is a new spicies and all animals that are alike enough to that animal is clasified as the same spicies
but yeah i am more on the track of evolution is gods tool for development and the creation verse is more symbolic to help us understand a very complex happening...ie creation |
