Does anyone else on this game ride Dressage like me? If yes, tell me! I want to talk to you! What level do you ride? What kind of horse? Anything else?

I ride dressage, although I don't compete in it at the moment. I still ride it about 3-4 times a week though to complement my jumping and jump-oriented flatwork sessions. I ride at around 2nd or 3rd level on my current horse Winnie, who is a 16 hh Hanoverian/TB mare. I can do some higher level movements like tempis and such, but Winn's not ready for them yet.
How about you, what horse do do ride and at what level? |

I can do first through second level tests on my pony, Cisco. He's a American Paint Pony cross, 16 years old, and 13.2 hh. Although he does only first and second level, he can do ah-mazing piaffes and I am working ton two time lead changes ( I can dream). For me, I can do about 4th level tests and know some FEI stuff. How high do you jump? In my jumping, I ride a Welsh/Thoroughbred named Flicka. She is 9 and about 12.3(?) hh. She's good at training and 1st level dressage and mostly hunter/jumpers at about 2' 6"/2' 9". Both diciplines are fun

I bet your pony looks so cute when he piaffes! I'm training a paint pony about that size right now, but he's only 4 so were a long ways off from piaffe. We're finally getting rythm and beginnning to work on suppleness, we'll keep chugging up the scale lol. I've gotten a couple of steps of passage out of Winnie, but we're still a looong way away from getting it consistant.
I'll probably be competing at 3'-3'3 this year, but we've gone about 4'3 just playing around. Winn did it easily, so I have no idea how high she can actually go lol |

Yeah, I don't know what I'm doing this year. I am going to keep jumps low, as my jumper had a serious thing going on with her liver and kidneys. We are thinking about starting her back next week, but I won't get any higher probably that 3' this season, sadly. My pony is just going back into jumping training with me, and so he is going to do about 1'-1'3'' at our next show. Not high at all for me, but for him it'll be a stretch

Sidepassing isn't dressage, but it is great to work on lateral work with your horse to balance the aids used with your reins. What is Penny like?

I have never actually competed in dressage but am able to learn more about it in my new job. I did do a "mock" dressage test the other day and apparently did fine. Only a starter course.
My jumping? The less said the better at the moment. I CAN jump approx 3ft but I'm NOT graceful and I struggle to keep my horse moving as my lower leg is quite weak at the moment, but I'm working on it |
