lmao..I love this. Only model horse people will know what you're talking about.
I forget it sometimes and will be talking about the 'body box' around non model people or people who know me well enough and get funny looks. It took me a while at my PO but the guy behind the desk finally started asking me if it was a good one or a body..again, getting the strangest looks from other customers.
I have a large tote full of older mold bodies in trad and classic scale. It's in the storage room so I'm not sure exactly what's in it. The stablemate bodies don't leave unless my sis needs any or a friend out in CA needs a few. I don't work on the larger scales. |

I love to just repaint. So I try to get cheap, whole bodies when I can afford it. I have some pics up of repaints I've done in the Artist forum. The customized Breyers thread, I believe. So you can see some of my work. I have lots of others that I've repainted. I've worked on just about all the 'toy' horse types except Stones. I don't have very many of those. I also pedigree and breed my models.
I have an ASB 5-gaiter model here with a pedigree that I reasearched all the way back to Justin Morgan. |

I researched that far back for my real horses, I have hundreds of model pedigrees I'd be here forever doing like that. When I first started pa'ing I did research back as far as I could but now I don't worry about it so much. Especially when I have 60+ stablemates alone (lots of others besides that to do) that need ids and pedigrees.
I'll have to let you know when I find the body box. In state shipping shouldn't be too bad and you'd be doing me a favor taking them. I hate seeing them sit out there in storage when someone can give them a new life. |

I would appreciate them, Jinx. Just PM me when you find them. |
