Life Has Come Full Circle

Written many, many years ago. I graduated high school over twenty years ago, this was written while I was in school.

LIFE HAS COME FULL CIRCLE

Out under the sun he stands
His noble subjects before him
The picture of perfection
He has triumphed all
And lost nothing
He has lived only to be king
That is what is meant for a creature as he
Born to an uncertain world
It was a struggle at every turn
Attempting to stand on wobbly legs
Through his first winter
To a life of loneliness
He sighs at life
Before him lies his past, present and future
What came next
He had reached his goal
He had defeated all odds
Surveying his kingdom
His muscles tremble
His ears twitch
His eyes search
New life has entered this world
As uncertain as his--
First try at wobbly legs

lol Pinkstar, when I was in school I was forever drawing and writing poetry. I wrote it so much my english teacher had me hand in 1 or 2 a week in place of the journal he made everyone else do each week. It was mostly about horses back then though as I lived for horses at the time. I don't know what I have left after my last move, there's a lot of things I haven't found yet. This one I happened to have had on my old website and I hadn't taken it down yet because I haven't moved it to the new site yet. Thought I'd post it here for others to enjoy. It's my favorite of the ones I've written.

It's written in honor of a very special horse. A horse I didn't realize until more recently is something more than I thought he was back then.

i understand.. I slacked off and wrote and drew in class to.. I guess that did not really pay off becasue My teacher always yelled at me.. but i write good stories! And Draw well

haha niice.. So we know mothers day is coming up? I made my mom a looovley picture frame wit ha little poem. It is totaly not my best but yeah...

Mother, your not just another
Your better the other
Wherever I am
I see you there
Your in my presence, your in the air
As time unravels,
we always travel
So three cheers for mom
For she is truly the bomb...

Yeah really awkard but.. We travel like at least once a month LOL!!

I really write good stories... I could post one up somewhere soon
