I didn't mean to make it so confusing sorry. Um if you're planning on entering it might make it easier not to read other people's entries before you write your own. That just makes it more confusing.

Ok, so instead of the dog show being in California, I switched it around, and they were arriving and trying to get to the dog show. When thier home state is Califronia.

Anyways here is what I have so far:

Nikki shrugged, and replied with a smug remark, “How am I supposed to know? I’m not the one that got us here. Let’s just unpack our bags and sleep here for the night; we might even stay here for all I know.”

Savannah sighed and ran outside to the car to grab her bag, and her sleeping bag. Fairy followed closely, while Teresa and Nikki looked around the place for possible instructions. It seemed like a nice and tidy little place, there was a small office desk in the corner, Teresa walked toward it and found a small note with instructions on it. She beckoned Nikki over to the desk to read it over; they found a phone number, a contact address, and instructions! While Teresa and Nikki were setting up their sleeping bags, Fairy, was busy cooking a pot of soup she found in her bag, over a small fire, Nikki had made, using sticks she found outside of the barn, and a lighter that she always carried in her purse in case of emergencies.

They grained the giraffes before going to bed. Nikki sighed and closed her eyes thinking of how she could be in a nice warm cozy bed right now, instead of sleeping in this cold, drafty barn. Fairy on the other hand was thinking of what else could have happened, like, what if they hadn’t found this barn; would they be stuck in the snow storm during white-out conditions? Teresa was wondering what her folks back at home where doing; they probably heard about the snow storm and were worrying about her safety. Savannah was thinking of what kind of stuff she would find in her bag, because she had let her younger sister help her pack, her sister probably put Savannah’s favorite stuffie in her bag, and Savannah would not want to be embarrassed, so she decided not to unpack her bag fully.

Nikki woke up and blinked the sleep from her eyes. She woke up to the smell of something cooking on a fire; she turned to see what it was but bumped into Teresa’s bag instead. She scolded herself for being careless.

“Oh look! Sleeping beauty has awoken!” Fairy teased.

Nikki groaned, and got dressed and ready within a few hours. She along with Fairy fed and turned out the giraffes in the pasture. Teresa made an effort to try and drive her car to find where the nearest grocery store was so that she along with Nikki could buy some food, and maybe, just maybe get some help. Then again, Nikki was the only one with a cell phone that got service out here, so she would have to take Nikki just in case.

Umm, Chocolate, usually there are giraffes, elephants, lions, and other stuff of that sort.

Nikki's eyes traveled around the barn in disgust. At Savannah's words she replied in a sarcastic way, " Oh, I know, we're going to stay in this stinky barn and care for the awful creatures that live here!" She took a fierce sigh, her gaze now upon Savannah. She gave a quizzical look as if to say 'We aren't really staying here, are we...?'

Fairy rolled her soft amber eyes at Nikki and said harshly, "Nikki, can you just chill for a second? It's not as bad as it looks. Besides, it may actually teach you something about responsibility..." Fairy's words were muttered at the end, although she would have no problem saying it right to Nikki. Ever since Nikki had arrived back home from her Aunt and Uncle's ranch, she was very irritating.

Teresa looked torwards Nikki and gave a sigh, she would just have to get used to it and that was it.

Nikki wasn't done fighting just yet. She roughly plopped down on the bed on her right side. Her glare went from Savannah to Fairy. A feeling of worry swept ver Nikki as she said softly, "But I need to see my Truffles! She has to be ready for the dog show. I can't be stuck in this rehab center, who will show Truffles?! She needs to be prepared for the show, and she's on a diet. You know she always burries those extra treats! OOh, if only this dumb blizzard would just stop...." Her gaze slid torwards each of her friends.

Savannah gave a deep sigh and said "Well, you'll have to dealwith it. These animals need our help. Speaking of help, I managed to get the car started while you were ranting on and on. But we are snowed in and won't be able to do much until the roads clear up. In the meantime, let's try and get settled. OK?"

Nikki didn't respond, just gave a defeated nod.

Teresa gave a sigh and slowly walked across the room, examining it as she did so. In the corner of the wall, a letter was taped to the wall. Her curiousity sparked as she traveled torwards it and fingered it carefully. Teresa gave a puzzled look, but gently took off the letter and unfolded it. It read " Hello and Good Work. Your first step is completed , now onto the second you go. Your job is to care for the animals that reside here, but watch out, those you think you knew, are not what they seem." Teresa's eyes widened at the letter. But before anyone else spotted it, she quickly pocketed it. She searched the faces of her friends, no, they were all real, weren't they? Well, she would be on the look out. Teresa leaned against the wall and combed her blonde hair back with her index finger. It would be a long month.

Well for me, Nikki does like animals but is more of a preppy kind, you know doesn't like getty dirty and stuff. Also I'm thinking with Teresa and the note, it could be like a mystery or something...

“I wonder what else they have in store for us in this dump! Come on, I can’t believe I’m actually agreeing to stay in this place that they call a wildlife rehabilitation center. Yuck!” Savannah complained.

“I don’t know, why don’t we go and look around, how wonderful it would be to interact with the animals in this “dump”,” Fairy teased.

“Hey, that’s not nice, it’s not like I planned for this to happen, and you know that I absolutely hate animals.” Savannah whined.

“Really? I’m sorry about that Savannah, not. Savannah, not everyone is a spoiled brat like you, look at you, you can just snap your fingers for something, and a second later, it is right there. I mean, come on, your dad is a rich millionaire. Whereas Nikki, Teresa, and I live on farms and we work for our food, we depend on animals for our survival.” Fairy ranted.

“Well, maybe then, I should go and snap my fingers for a cab and maybe it will come to me, and then I can go home, just as I had planned to. You and your trashy friends can hang out here, or you can be nice to me and maybe find your way back home.” Savannah argued.

“Yes, well maybe, me and my “trashy” friends will be happy here, and actually live here for a while, because I’m not just going to bow down at your feet, and say, oh mighty Savannah, you are my ruler, I will come with you, please take me with you. If you’re going to insult my “trashy” friends, then I’m not going to be your friend anymore, you can go off and “cook” for yourself, see how you like it, because I know you will come crawling back to me.” Fair defended her friends.

Soon afterward, Nikki and Teresa came back from buying a lot of groceries, when they returned and found that Savannah had left, they were relived.

Nikki mocked Savannah, “Oh my gosh, I’m going to have to sleep with these beasts near me?”

Fairy commented, “That sounded exactly like something she would say, except that she would sound more shocked.”

They all then broke out in laugher.

Ok... here is a bit more....

Fairy awake to Savannah tapping away on her phone, Teresa listening to her ipod and Niki trying to email her friends for help.

Savannah smacked her phone down on her sleeping bag and announced, "humph, i've tried texting and calling... even with my shody aerial, we're stuck here..." Then Niki also announced that she's couldn't email anyone for help.

Teresa mumbled for everyone to shut up and stop whinging because they're would be looking after the animals even though they didn't want to. A huge argument errupted between Savannah, Niki and Teresa.

Fairy though could here something between to huge doors. She side stepped around the argument and walked towards the doors quietly. The argument hushed queiter and quieter until they were all staring at Fairy.

She grasped the handles and opened the doors with great strenght. And out bounded a small beagle and german shepard puppy. Behind them sat three giraffes staring at her silently.

"Oh my godness, they're so cute" Teresa sighed at the excited dogs.
"Come here gorgeous" Niki called the puppy. Savannah scanned through the instructions and found the part about looking after the giraffes, telling Fairy intensely and Fairy obaying.

After feeding the giraffes, they turned them out into their paddocks while Niki made a scrumptious breakfast. Then they all dressed and fed the dogs, called Shadow and Bella. Shadow quickly gobbled up his food even for his puppy size.

Fairy and Niki set out for the alligators and bird santurery while Savannah and Teresa headed for the antelopes and buffalos herds.
