|

Blah. I know I haven't really kept up with anything free lately.. >.> But.. Eh.. I need to vent. My dad's in the hospital for his heart. So.. I'll try to do my best. I'm really having trouble with everything right now, and I need a let out. If you really want/need to know, PM me. I don't mind sharing(to an extent) but I don't want to go into detail here.
I prefer hoofed/none canine animals. I'm horrible at them, but I can do them. I'll do whatever taste that sparks my fancy, thank you very much. So I don't want whining. This is after all, free. And I could do a simple sketch, or a full blown piece. Whatever I like. You want a specific pose? Sure. Put it in. But I might not do it. Sorry. Not trying to sound mean. But I'm not going to frustrate myself more with things like this. ^^ I don't do wings. Unless you want very hideous ones. ^^

As for my question for artists..
How do you do those lineless perty colorings? What I mean is..
You do your sketch. But you don't ink it. You color over/under the sketch, and when it's done, it has no lines. How do you do it? |

Delete the lines?
Make sure you hide the lines layer periodically so that that you know where to shade more, or highlight, etc. =] |

That's what I do..I use my sketch as a guide and then delete it when I'm done with the image. |

If I do it mostly on the computer I re-sketch the lines in the base color then fill it in with the same color. On the next layer I then do all the perdy stuff, the highlights, shadows and textures along with any variation in the base coat. This helps cause I like transparent backgrounds but also like the smudge tool a lot, it keeps me from smudging all the way down to transparent cause the color was thinned. |

Yes I am still doing this. I have not, as of yet, found something that sparked my interest. |
