I didn't want to say anything before, but I ended up buying all the Arabians ( Ends ) and most of the Threatened horses: Paints & Shag (sp...?) and also a few guinea pigs and quite a few tigers. 'Course, there are still so many on the market.. :\

I messaged kayla and she agreed to stop putting all the foals on the market, though I don't know how long that will last.

Thank you all for your support in this. I do understand that some players do not understand the concept. But hopefully this thread will enlighten some people.

I have also bought a number of animals in the past off the market and released, but yes a general "clear up" may be a good idea.

that is what is really needed i mean we have guppies (live for 6 "years") that are over 9 that show up in searches so i have no doubt that a few other breeds are the same. so a clean up would help not only our efforts but the sever also seeing that they are taking up room.

That's great! I'm going to see if I can raise some money doing photography for some people so that I can buy, or donate money to someone so that they can buy paints, ext. off the market.

I have messaged eerrty regarding the breeding of weimeraner puppys whole. He/she agrees to steralize from now on.

Cowgirls I was thinking along those lines, if we could raise some money specifically for cleaning up, then we could do a lot more.

it would be really nice if we could create a club specifically for the cleanup of overbred animals.If everyone could chip in a portion of tokens it could be possible. We could alert each other when a breed starts to be bred too often and send out newsletters to random players to create awareness.Maybe one of us could take in all of the animals off of the market one week and another could do it next week. We could breed some non overpopulated animals and hold an auction for the money to buy the animals.Just an idea. Think it's a good one?

the only problem is that nobody is really selling tokens right now. If one of us would win Rio Saris's giveaway we'd be halfway there. I don't know I wish we could create a club just by cash.

An actual club itself isn't neccessary. We could just post a breed here, or on the Community/Competition board thingy, asking for help from other people to help raise awareness and clean up. A club would really just add a bit of glamour to it, and limit the err...publicity(?)... we could get if it was posted on a more popular board. The club idea isn't a bad one, but if we can't get it, we don't have to be discouraged
