1. Does the rarity go down when the number of that breed or colour go up?
2. If so, when you release an animal with a rare colour/breed help to keep the variations ect. rare? |

1. No. Even if you breed a million Endangereds, it will not change the rarity. However, one would hope that you'd have enough respect for the creator of said variation/colour to keep only one or two and release the rest, not put up for public stud, not sell whole animals, etc.
2. Releasing the animal only has an effect on the total number of that variation/colour in game. Many players go by both the rarity value (ie Endangered, Threatened, etc) AND the total number in game when determining stud fees/sale prices. For example, the Ragdoll cat, which is Almost Extinct, is quite easy to buy or breed, and is not worth much anymore despite it's "rarity". |
