1 the game profit go to a shelter, i am sure i said this somewhere else

have the maker say you cant buy someone elses for a fraction but for them, if you want to buy out of their terms from game you have to pay full cost, get more money in, and compensate the original maker for loosing full control by giving them more ...maybe a 30-70 split. both the shelter and the players benefit...and it become less lucrative to buy someone else creation instead of making your own, unless of the case you really wanted that one, was saving for it and someone just beat you to it...then you still have the chanse.

thus if 3 players remake your creation you get back 90% of your token as compensation...i doubt by that point any more will buy it as its likely somehow its gonna be avaliable

and like said the rest go to the shelter and benefit of animals in the few cases where people do recreate (i'd tink if you did it like that most would choose alternative names for their same creations anyhow just to have their own, as it cost the same)

I really don't know what to say except that it's not even that exciting to get an endangered animal anymore. I bought one the other day for 500k that's ridiculous!

I've never created one, but I can see why you're all upset about this. Those people that overbreed (I think I may have with some cats ) effect everone in the game. Because some people can't be trusted and animals are overbred, people who do look for rarer animals, who do the right thing (I'm saying I'm one of those who are totally trustworthy) find only common and overpopulated on the market.
The abundant ones end up about a million SBF cash higher then the others.
Take a look at the Wolves
And worse still, the Foxes and Cougars

Ok I've just counted the amount of Paint Horses on the market (I know they're Threatened, but I still feel this is an exceptional amount)

TOTAL on sale = 39 (38 now as I accidently bought one doh)
20 of these are from 1 player selling at $500k each.

I just think its a tad ridiculous!!!

As long as I'm not active here anymore, and therefore have no real use of my money here... I'm willing to spend about 50-100 mill on overbred animals. Minus the fact that, in doing this, we encourage people to overbreed them and sell them, since they know they'll be bought... Aargh x.x

Yes I was thinking along the same lines Angel...if we buy their animals then we are just encouraging them to breed more...

Maybe if we came up with a list of the overbred animals and send it to people, to raise awareness, and ask them to either not buy unless they don't have one or be more sensible with the breeding of those animals?

I would not mind sending out the messagges if you guys could help me with the list...what do you think?

i know no one likes the idea of overbreed animals but first off everyone must remember that this is a game for all age levels and some of our player do not understand the whole overbreeding, secondly a lot of people come and go and i would not doubt that about half of the animals on the market are theirs. so if we could find a way to clean off the market maybe once every 6 months or so it might help. lastly there are over 32865 people who have at some time or another played sbf and compared to the number of players those amounts are very low.

though i will agree that something could use to be done about it.
