One that note, I think its time we talked about the little things that make us happy. Hopefully it will raise the morall around here a bit. Please try and think of at least one little thing in life that makes you happy and then do a short blurb to explain why.

Little things that make Queso happy:
Little flowers: I don't know why, but I've always loved tiny little flowers. Most other people dont even notice them, but to me each one is like a little hidden gem waiting to make me smile.

When my horse puts her head in my arms: Winnie isn't very affectionate at all, so when she does this for just a second or two it makes it just the most wonderdful, most meaningful gesture of love an friendship she could ever give.

Cool clouds: Somthing about all of the cool shapes they make just fasinates me, I could watch clouds for hours.

The big pile of hair and the sore arm you get after spending 2 hours grooming a sheding horse: I love the feeling of satisfaction and knowing that you've made your 4 legged friend slightly less itchy.

Now its your guys' turn!

I really like just laying out in the grass barefoot with my friends and watching the clouds.

That doesn't happen very often, but the prickle from the dry grass and the cool air floating over me is really awesome.

Thanks Queso. I think everybody needs this right now.And I've always been intrigued by tiny flowers too.

cantering through a field: when you are running through a field with a horse the problems of the world seem to fade.

The SBF Community: even though not everybody here is perfect or really happy you can still feel the love

a mother's hug: sure she drives me crazy but to know that she loves you and to lay in her arms just feels so good. Smile

Watching a football game with my boyfriend outside on a freezing cold night [eek...homecoming -___-]

Galloping through a huge open field just as spring is beginning and the feeling of accomplishment as we fly over the oxer I've been trying to jump for a month =)

Lying on my trampoline and watching the clouds with my friends and arguing over whether one cloud looks like a dragon or a mermaid.

Looking at the moon and the stars for hours on end =)

The way I feel every time I hear the words "I love you"

Walking in a thunder storm. Yes I know not a particularly smart thing to do, but the feeling of power in the air, of electricity, it's just so exciting.

Hacking out on a cold, frosty morning. Seeing the horses breath steam as you go. Knowing that no other silly sod will be around as its so cold.

Watching my ferrets play together, and when they include me in the play, I truly feel like "One of the gang"

A clear summers night. Sitting on the roof outside my bedroom, listening to the world around me. And the smell, which I can't quite describe, which only can be smelt on a clear summer night.

A steaming hot bubble bath, with only a couple of scented candles for light, and my "relaxing" music on. (You know which I mean, the plinky plonky ones).

Gaining the trust of a mistreated animal. Teaching them to love again, and finding that perfect home where they can continue their emotional growth.

I'll shut up now...... Confused

    omg.

I luff that feeling. When there's a particularly strong storm rolling in, and the winds pick up, but things seem to get still for the few minutes before the storm starts. When everything is tense, and then things just go wild with energy. ^^ That, is amazing.

...and people give you that crazy look but you could care less.

Your hair stands u[ on the back of your neck from the electricity and you suddenly want to laugh and dance and cry and sing at the same time.

Pure magic =)

Galloping through an open field; It's just you and the horse, and time stands still. The feeling of freedom is amazing.

When your horse leans on your shoulder/puts their head on you; My horse, Star, really wasn't in the greatest place and condition when I bought her. When she does this it makes it seem like she's thanking me that I *sort of* saved her. And it's like I know we've got a strong bond when we can sit here like this.

Jumping; Flying through the air on top of your horse. Instead of saying 'I believe I can fly' its 'I know I can fly' [Yes, corny but it just came to the top of my head. =)]

Training my Tex boy<3; There's this mini at the barn I board my horse. I love him... The lady is training him for someone but she never has the time to. I don't train him for her, but he's so cute and I've gotten so attached to him. It was the best feeling when I got him to trust me. He's very skittish and not all to fond of new people and crowds of attention. Now I've got him walking[only in his stall, but he's so small the stall's big enough you could lunge him in small circles in there ^^]with no halter, and he obeys clucking sounds and whoa.

Watching a horse roll, buck, and run; After my horse is in the stall for awhile, she gets extremely energetic. She's a TB, so she's got lotsa energy^^ When I let her loose in the pasture the first thing she does is find a good spot to roll. When she's done she'll get up and take off bucking. For me it's just amazing to watch her run and kick her heels up. It's like that feeling of freedom again.

Yes I know, all mine are about horses. But most of the things I love are about horses. They are such beautiful and amazing creatures to me. I love observing and working with them. <3

Man..if it wasn't for the little things I wouldn't get out of bed. But that's another story and one I wont share with the SBF community.

Little things like..Mi-Lin coming over and pawing at me wanting my attention. Lady laying her head on my leg and staring up at me when she knows I'm dwelling on things I shouldn't be. Watching my goldfish fight over who's going to be close to me when I go talk to them. A friend calling up out of the blue saying "Something said I needed to call you, lets go get lunch or something." Logging online and having dear friends that live out of state instantly say hello and ask how the day had been. (Or getting a call from those friends) Getting a little further on working out the culture(s)/world for something I'm writing or sketching something and actually getting it finished (lately, my creativity muse have been on near permanent vacation). Offering a shoulder when someone needs it despite my own troubles. Letting a friend rant for an hour just so they can get what's bothering them off their minds.

I'm sure the list goes on but I'm drawing a blank at the moment.

Playing with the class rats. Two babies, Salt and Pepper who are only 4 weeks old. And dear old Plonk, who is three and cuddles up on your shoulder and gently nibbles your ear.

Sitting outside up in a tree, or in the grass, alone, whatching the world goes by. It's so calming and relaxing...

Feathers, any kind. I always have to pick them up. I just love them. They're so interesting

And lots more...

I love, running around barefoot, the little smile that my dog Moose has when he is scratching himself, horses(can't live without them! lol), fish(I know...), large feilds to run in(lol), and lots more stuff. Oh yes, I love snow! I love snowboarding, but it is quite funny seeing my friend ski, and hear storys about how he does really amusing stuff. I also love working with horses, just getting them to learn to trust me, and I love it when you can do somthing like hug them, or talk to them about stuff, and it seems as if the actually know and understand what you are talking about.

hmm things that make me happy......

the fact that sometimes I can't resist the urge to buy really cute novelty purses, but then I never use them because they are really girly or weird and I don't want to be seen in public with them.

When I think about the time I was about 12, I really wanted a dog and when my mom wouldn't get me one I taught my 2 year old sister to crawl around and bark like a dog. I would make her fetch things and she would come when I whistled.
Finally my mom broke down and let me get a dog.

The fact that my hair has been so many colors, natural and nonnatural, that I can't even remember all the colors it has been.

I know the words to about 2/3 of the jingles played during commercials. And I like to sing them when I am sad and they make me happy...especially the Freecreditreport.com commercials with the guy singing....

When I am sad I could watch any movie with Nicholas Cage in it, not because he's hot, but because he's a great actor. You actually believe that he is that character.

I am marrying my high school sweetheart on his birthday in 2008.

Watching my kids playing. I love to watch my 4 year old twins act like little mommys to my 1 year old and my 3 month old.

Going out with my camera and taking pictures of the most random things then going into the dark room and developing myself. And watching things show up in the pictures you had no idea were there.

Coming on SBF. No matter how bad of a day i've been having, coming on here always makes me feel better.

The Princess Bride. I quote it regularly and it makes me happy everytime I think about Wesley =]

Having a good old fashioned tickle fight. With whoever is in the vicinity.

Stupid jokes. They're the best way to start a day.

Riding my 3-Wheeler. With my music blaring and singing the words and not being able to hear them because I'm going too fast.

Reading a book with a happy ending. It takes my mind to a different place and away from whatever problems I might have.

RPing...used to do a lot more of it, but of late either i dont have time (not due real life but cause staff take up time on the site, or energy), or i lack the inspiration cause i am out of energy Razz, but of late goten more steadily back into it after almost having a stop ...and it feels wonderfull

talking to my BF or just being online with him, its enough just hearing his presence (the atlantic seperate us so way long distance)

dogs used to be more it when i lived with parents, cant have dog atm due lifestyle and living situation...but just having them come and want to cudle up, leaving the rest of the world behind for a moment embracing the dog and giving it attention..there is something about giving your full attention to an animal that has everything else around you disapear for a moment Wink

a good book, i always loved reading, geting a free e-book to read on my bedside of late was a pleasent surprice (specialy being dead bored now that i am on sickleave from school and is unable to focus to seriously on anything...which often makes me bored even when doing something, as its the only thing i am doing as i cant manage to consentrate enough to do more...and i am normaly a multitasker so it drives me insane)

otherwise talking to friends

a good meal
