There's one other thing for the animal cruelty listing. This website has TONS of topics to choose from. If we pulled 5 or 6 from there, we can start the vote.

I can write an article responce for my teacher and class to hear, and I'll ask my teacher if we could possibly do a project or somthing like that about animal cruelty. I can give examples of really awesome posters/flyers, I'll do edits and make them look nice....I'm sure Pinkstar's banners would look good on once of the flyers too.

I would be willing to do a ton of banners and might consider it with the teacher.. Also I can make poems about an animal dying over animal cruelty or during it being hurt.. Seriously though Banners is a big yes for me!

What topics are you guys interested in? I'm personally very passionate about soring that is sometimes done to gaited horses and Rolkur in dressage. Mabey once everyone gives their ideas, Ster could put up a poll and we can vote on which ones we think are the best/most 'worthy.'

Well, not to rain on your parade, Cowgirls & Pinky, but I we need to list the topics that we could do. I was saying 'animal cruelty' as the theme, not as the topic, anyway. So, please don't hijack my thread.

Queso, thanks for the ideas. Could we do 'Horse Issues'? I say that because there are tons of different cruel things they do to horses and we may not have enough info for a whole page. It could have, like, sub-topics.

Also, this paper will give info, not have any randomness. I think that a poem would be pushing it. I was going to write the most of it, then ask for editing or word changes, and the like.

um I think that after greyhounds are done racing that too many of them get put down. Greyhounds have great red blood cells and some vet offices could use them as blood donors if they would be willing. kinda off topic but I'd like to help!

Cecelia ~ Very good idea! So what your saying is that we could use their blood cells for something, instead of just killing them? Or maybe, we could make a sign about not putting them down at all.. Anyway, thanks for the idea!

Greenie ~ Awesome. I luff your art, anyway! Animal testing? Okay. What type of testing are you talking about, and I'll happily put it up for voting. Also, thanks for the compliment! ^^

PinkStar ~ -shakes head- Your not wasting your time. Your wanting to do something to make a difference, good for you! But, what I'm talking about, is all of us pitch in to make a poster togather, and go to school/work, copy them, and ask to post them or give them out. So don't worry about talking to anyone yet, okay?

Thanks again to everyone for volunteering and posting ideas. Here's what we have so far in terms of topics..
-Horse Abuse/Cruelty [ie.soring, rolkur, some types of hacking..]
-Greyhound Issues/Cruelty [ie. why put them down? why not take some of their blood cells first?]
-Animal Testing [types?]

I was thinking we could do Fur Farming, too. That's a very important topic also, and I bet we could find TONS of info.
