I've downloaded a newer version of GIMP to what I did have (due to computer dieing). I was just wandering if anyone could tell me how to add text to the pictures. I think its version 2.4 (maybe 2.4.4?)

After you type out what you want, you need to merge the layer.

I don't now, but I guessed.
After merging, then save and see if that works [=
