I did halter with a pony I used to ride, her name was Misty, but it was sort of like a beginner halter class. She was really good considering that one little thing could make her blow....

I own a TB cross, not sure what the other half is. Her name is Galaxy of Dreams, or Star for short. I haven't shown her yet, but I ride English and will show her Eq, Under Saddle, English Command, O/F, Working Hunter etc etc. Some of you know the most part of all that English stuff. At the old barn I was at, I showed Quarter Horses and did all the English still, but then got into a 6 year old bay mare. She was extremely good at Western, so at the State Fair show, I did English and Western. Command, trail, eq, under saddle, all of that to.

That's so cool everyone. I hope you have better luck with Dee,White Frost. Have any of you ever gone to horse camp? I would love to go again this summer but it's so stinkin expensive. My riding instructor used to host horse day camps. We would be assigned our own horse for the week. I went two different years. One year I was on two different horses during the week. One was a mixed breed bay pony gelding named Comet. She saved him from the slaughterhouse when he was just a foal. He's about 13 now and is the best pony you could wish for. He is ony about twelve hands and I have sadly outgrown him. The other horse is a tri color paint Quarter Horse gelding named Lakota. He is 14.2 hands and has a reputation for being the most stubborn horse at the barn. The next year I rode a palomino Arabian cross named Dusty. He is also 14.2 hands but has a way bigger heart than you could possibly imagine. He is now 22 years old and still doing great. He loves to jump and be ridden in english or western. Dusty is an all around great horse. Now I am working with Penny. I would love to take her to a horse camp but she's not my horse so that's not going to happen. She is a red dun Quarter horse mare and she does great at Trail, Cow Working, and Pleasure classes.Especially if you give her an apple and a massage. lol

I would love to hear about more of your horse experiences everybody. Smile

My barn would put on horse camps every summer! I was a counsler in the little kid one almost every year, so much fun :3 We always did a cross country one, it was so fun. I alwasy ended up getting the horse that was crazy/ never done xcc before/ never seen water ect. because I was the only advanced person without their own horse lol. It was still a blast though
