My pet, Demon, died today, he was 1 and a half years old. I cried for a while because I loved him so much. I didn't name him, but if I did, he would have been named SugarPlum, lol. He had over 100 babies, and will always have a place in my heart as the boy who I let get a little carried away. Don't worry, all those babies were not with the same female. Even so, I love him so much. He died of old age, even though one and a half years seems unfair to be old for mice. Now that I mention what type of animal he is, most of you are probably thinking, "She's crying over a mouse?" But yes, he will always have a place in my heart. I will post a picture later on. Sad

This is exactly how he looked, when he was young, that is.

Aww, I'm so sorry to hear that your mouse died. Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad My cat died at 18 a month ago & My horse was that age (17 months) when she died almost hmm, 5 months ago it is now. Granted she died live anywhere near her life span of 30+ years, but that doesn't make their deaths any less sad.

That certainly is a lot of babies! Laughing Did you keep any of them?

I only kept a few of his babies, to keep the bloodline going. He has pure bloodlines, so he was studded out a few times. I am very sorry your horse died so young. Sad

Wow, that's cool. Pure bloodlines! My filly wasn't even 1 breed Laughing She was 1/4 Quarter Horse & 3/4 Spotted Saddle (which is why I'm trying to get Spotted Saddle Horse added as a breed on here!) Yeah, she was really young. Sad

I don't think any one would be saying "Oh my god, she's crying over a mouse" at least not on here. No matter what your pet is, if you love them then you will grieve.

When I was young I cried when my stick insects died. lol

**Big hugs hun**

Chil, so sorry. I have had pet rats and mice before and I know, even though they are just mice/rats, they will always be in your hearts. They are friends and so cute and they can be just like dogs! I hope you feel better soon *gives cookie and hug*. For you, I am going to name the next animal born at my farm. Chilly's SugarPlum Demon. Very Happy I am sorry.

Aw I'm sorry. My dog got put down at 20 mths because of aggression(I believe he was sick) what's worse was it was a week before my birthday. and was a 6 month early B-Day gift. I used to cry every day. I cry at night more than one time. But the pain has receded. That doesn't mean I don't still love him. It just means I'm thinking of the happy memories.
