Well just to keep up the tradition of my families bad new years, I had a car accident today.
I was on my way to work when I hit a patch of black ice. Skidded around 360 degrees, went over the central reservation knocking down the bollards and buckling my front wheel.
Luckily for me I was ok and managed to limp home. I am VERY annoyed that my car is damaged as I've only had it a month.
I was not injured, just shacken. Although I have been having minor asthma attacks all day since.
Just thought I'd let you know, this way if I seem grumpy or annoyed you know why. It's nothing personal and I appologize if I am. |

I'm so glad to hear you're okay. (:
Sorry 'bout your car.
-grumbles-
At least you have one. I'm forced to ride a public bus to get into town. Expensive and the bus always smells like smoke x.x;
Anyway. I hope you can get your car fixed and I'm glad your okay. x3 |

Thanks Kat. Luckily I don't think it's done a huge amount of damage (there's enough though)
I'm off to the garage tomorrow to try and get it fixed.
I must admit I absolutley HATED going to work on the bus and was so pleased when I passed my driving test and got myself a pap pap (car)lol |

Thanks guys. I appreciate you all so much.
I was very shaken yesterday and a little freaked, knowing you all was there helped.
Luckily on closer inspection it's just a new wheel I need, and obviously the tracking will need to be realigned. So would be cheaper for me to get it fixed myself rather than going through the insurance (I need to keep my no claims bonus lol)
But thank you guys. This community is so nice, and I'm glad to be part of it. |

Hopefully should all be fixed tomorrow. I went over to the garage today and they being very nice people said they'd do it for me.
Also I had this week booked off from work so thankfully I've got plenty of time to sort it out. |
