This thread is about the results of the Creators Club auctions.... Please don't spam in here for other things.

So, how are the token recipients chosen?

lol.
That would make sense
So, how are people chosen, though? By how many things created by them, or randomly, or...what?

Firstly only club members can win tokens from the auctions....
Then I base it on the length of time they have persisted with the same project as listed on the club board, how close they are to completion, and whether they have won before. Trust me, sometimes it isn't an easy choice, and usually some of us subsidise the payouts quite a bit. You don't win just because you're a member or contributed, but it does HELP raise the funds for the winners.
The real idea behind the club and the auctions is to help each other: the auctions just mean there is a centralised gathering of funds from time to time. Truthfully if we went by the value of the animals given, or the numbers of donations, only a select few would benefit. This is an opportunity to help your fellows rather than an avenue to acquire help yourself. I hope this explanation has helped.

Because a lot of people posted here wondering why they didn't get tokens and how the system worked.

I wondered for a while as well. *thinks* I've been working on one project since I joined... And so far have gotten no where lol.
This is mainly because I haven't found anyone selling tokens & I don't have the spare cash lying around at home to send in to buy any. Not to mention the fact that my parents would KILL me if they knew I wanted to spend real money on an online game ... =/
I hope to contribute something to this auction (I didn't know about the others or I would have helped then, I had SOOO much more animals then lol) ... But now I have little to contribute, I released sooo many animals so that I could start breeding again. |

Hah. me too.
The mother would have a freakin' coronary blockage if she thought i wanted to spend 'my hard-earned money on a stupid game'.
Pfft. She was genuinely puzzled when i argued that SBF was not stupid.
But then I found $20 on the ground and she let me spend that.
...Which made me very happy inside ... |
