HORAAH! My daddy finally lemme have contacts and now I'm going to see the eye guy this week!!!!! lol, I've been bugging him about it for a while.
But, before I excite myself too much, is there anything that I should be worried about? I'm not sure what, but there's always a bad thing to something great!

| I was going to have them, my mum's an optition. But, they sting when you put them in and when my mum did get them in they didn't want to stick to my eye. So I suppose I will have to stick to glasses. |

*takes cookie* Neh, I didn't know they sting. But then again, there's probably different brands in England then there are in America. I touch my eyes all the time, not even meaning to, so I doubt that'll be an issue.

i don't wear glasses but it's must be pretty expensive to get contats *tippie toes aways* shhhhh *comes back rolling a (rolling) tray full of lots of sweets, lollies and all the sugary things* it's good your not getting braces (hehe) |

Neh, the 'slip bihind the eye' episode would scare me too much for me to want to wear them. I'd probably throw them away and go search for my glasses. Just like the earring episode...lol. No more little things getting stuck in my ears.
I noramally wear googles when swimming if that helps any. But, if it bugs me enough, I'll probably take them out for swimmg. lol, it's one of my favorite sports.
Anyway, thanks for the info. Muchly appreciated. ^.^ Enen if it makes me think twice about going to this appt..
lol, Chocolate Gal, already went through braces. My poor poor parents, I felt so bad seeing the bills. >.< But, it was fun getting my friends favorite colors on their b-day month.  |

so are your braces of? My friend got braces and he had heaps of problems with them, imagine the bills his mum had to pay!?! i fact i don't know why i mentioned that at all but anyway i little computer food doesn't hurt does it???  |

Yep. got 'em off in April. It's hurts like heck getting them off. >.< *munches on yummy virtual cookie* Not at all. Speaking of which, I got my teeth cleaned today![ick] My dentist is soo scary looking. *shudders*

So, I recently got back from my contact appt. and they said that my eyes got worse...lol...but I'm trying them out tomorrow. Neh, they couldn't possibly hurt more than the dialating pupil crap they dropped in my eye..neh. Now I can't look at anything with out freaking out. You can't really see my iris, lol. [iris=colored part] But, my eye doctor guy is really creepy. He just has that , 'heh heh heh' feeling to him. And I was looking forward ot a cute young doc. So much for that fantasy. *sticks tounge out*
I was perscribed to the 'Acuview Owaysis' which just happned to be the most expensive. >.< It's over 100$. Why do little plastic thingys you poke in your eye gotta be so expensive?!?!?!? So, yeah. I'll say more when I have 'em in. The class to put them in is an hour...and all of the nurses seem really nice. But that's only 'cause they don't have needles filled with things..
