Every thought of you,
No matter how little it is,
It pulls on my
Heartstrings and
Develops a tear,
Just the memory
Of your name,
Midnight,makes me think of
Your nocturnal activity,
Only coming out at night to play,
A white and black hamster,
Not just any old hamster,
You were my Midnight,


You brought joy and happiness to my life,
You seemed to thrive for what I thought was forever.
Your pink little tail trailing behind you,
Your cute little paws trotting up and down,
Those play tubes.

I loved to watch you endlessly,
With that sweet look all the time,
I never thought your life would end so soon,
But our friendship will always last,
And your memory will last until my very last breath when I go to join you in peace,
I love you Midnight...
