My mum hasn't bought me any christmas cards to give out this year so I decided to have a go at making some on gimp(well the front). So I was just wondering what people think of them, I'm rubbish al manips though so they aren't very good. Herbie's isn't very good as he has long fur and it was hard to get his sticking out fur perfect. But here they are.
Barney
Herbie, ideas on what to add to the the pic are welcome, I've tried a hat but it didn't work.
Critique welcome |

I'd try to make the snow and sky look more 3D, by adding shading/highlights where needed.
BTW, the snow falling looks great! Especially behind the rabbits.

I love the one with snow behind the rabbit, but is it possible to make it more 3D looking? |

Perhaps try making it look more like he's/they're sinking into the snow?
Erase with a small fuzzy brush on low opacity around their sides and heads, and a higher opacity on their feet
I agree with Silversketches about the snow behind the rabbit and the shadowed snow ^^
Do you, by chance, have the layers or images that you used... ? |
