Okey, when we got her home i immediatly(sp?) took her to see trigger, they got on fine so i put her down........ and......... and....... and he humped her   :Horror: :Horror: so we have to wait TWO AND A HALF MONTHS!!! just to mingle them, they can still see each other, just not unnatended and they are only 10wks so,, ARRRG! 5months is the minimum so neutering... Rabbits!. (hope that didnt offend anyone it was all jokes... basicly.... he did hump her tho)
On a lighter note we do have two spare cages so we can keep them seperate... luckly, and she is starting to settle so her personality is emerging, shes alot like triggs
Plus, we were hoping to put them together so we didnt get another bottle and she keeps knocking her water bowl over... if shes a trigg, i cant blame her, Trigger cant even keep an apple right side up!!!!
And AGAIN my sister was too tired to put the photos on so tomorrow, HOPFULLY!

Then soon getting a ragdoll. could be worse though we did have 9 cats once, then a dog attacked one, like proper attacked him, and killed him then we just lost the other two. so my mum said she'd stop collecting and then i wanted a rabbit, then she said she thought he'd be lonley so i thought i was getting two and.... im probibly boring you so ill stop, but you get the idea , we have ACD |

lol im dying to show them off my sis cant be bothered though!
What breeds of hammys are they?. because we got my sisters ham from a PS (pet shop) hes a syrian so he cant have any friends, that made her very upset when she went in today to get another one, lol
I was thinking of names and i came up with
Mango
Nutmeg
Marsh(short for marshmallow)
Velvet
And i called her by all of these names and she answered to Mango! so it Mango and Trigger |

Yay Mango and Trigger! Are they related? Also ALL my hamster are syrians and they have their own cages. I made the mistake when I barely knew anything about them by putting one of them in with the other. My hamster only had the cage one day and was already territoral. But there were no major fights since the younger one submitted. But we seperated them and then the young one died on Valentine's day and we have no idea how. Then another died three days after. Then one died in august. Then one died three weeks ago. Anyways if your sis needs to know anything about syrians she could ask me. Two days ago was my hammies bday! I gave him tons of treats. Maybe I could show you a pic hold on. |

Humping is also a territorial action and is saying oi i'm boss around here, but it was ok with me as Herbie is neutered. But when it was just herbie and my old bunny Barney, Barney used to do it all the time to Herbie. A way to stop it is to squirt Trigger when he is about to mount but that will only work if he doesn't like it. Barney didn't mind it at all so it didn't work for us. |

Yesterday i made up a cage for Velvet and she slept there, when i got home today i took Trigger downstairs and put him in Velvets cage - she humped him, so i took them to the living room and no-one humped anyone, now they are beside me in the same cage- being cuties, and Triggs was even cleaning between her ears earlier
'Mara is happy |
